The house was perfect for our large group. The courtyard was a lovely place to have meals. The owner was a great communicator. Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend here. We were able to seat 16 people for supper each evening. The house was warm and large enough so we could all fit and visit in different sitting areas. Games in one area, football in another, cooking prep area, and soccer and cornhole outside. When you come home and your face hurts because you spent 4 days laughing and grinning, you've found the perfect spot!

Lovely property with beautiful courtyard and porch. Our first two days happened to be very hot. The courtyard area was shady and cool--a good place to escape the heat on the porch and inside the house. There is no AC in the house, but the big ceiling fan and a few floor fans helped bring the temperature down a few degrees. Fortunately, it cooled down relatively fast in the evening. We had a fun time exploring Whidbey Island. The house was a good base. Peter was a helpful and responsive host.

This property truly feels like coming home. In addition to providing everything we needed for a family of 6 including a 5 month old baby, it was perfect from start to finish. The views are such an added bonus - one way you see the water in the distance and the other you see a gorgeous courtyard filled with gorgeous flowers. Lots of ways to enjoy this beautiful property.

It was everything that was described on VRBO and more. We were three families and found the house to be very comfortable. The entry way garden is just gorgeous. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. The back lawn is perfect for star gazing. We stayed until the check out time, we didn’t want to leave.

This house was perfect for our family (grandparents down to 1 year old). The location was central and easy access to everything on Whidbey. The kitchen was wonderful and well stocked. The Grandkids played outside and after they went to bed we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We will be back again.

We stayed here with friends for a wedding and all loved it. Very spacious and probably the best stocked kitchen in any rental I’ve ever stayed in. If you plan on cooking, this is your place! The only bad part was that we were so busy with wedding stuff, we didn’t get to enjoy it more! Oh… and really nice sheets on the beds :-)

Beautiful property…well appointed!
We stayed here with friends for a wedding and all loved it. Very spacious and probably the best stocked kitchen in any rental I’ve ever stayed in. If you plan on cooking, this is your place! The only bad part was that we were so busy with wedding stuff, we didn’t get to enjoy it more! Oh… and really nice sheets on the beds :-)

Simply Perfect
This is a gorgeous property. We gathered with friends and family in the beautiful courtyard and sat each evening on the expansive front porch to watch the sunsets.
The house is quite large and has a perfect kitchen (large double ovens!) (super pantry!) (lots of serving dishes!) for preparing and hosting meals for a crowd. Peter was very responsive and gracious, allowing us to borrow folding chairs for our visitors. The newly-added gas fireplace was delightful in the chilly evenings.
Whidbey Island is truly a remarkable place to visit and staying in this wonderful house made the whole trip -and the celebration of my son's wedding- truly magical.

Wow! This house and location was absolutely perfect and so picturesque and perfect for our large family. The above the garage apartment and the bonus office/TV room were such an extra bonus for our family as well b/c kids could be in there and hangout and then my older uncle had his perfect space away from all the chaos in the house in the apartment above the garage. Peter and Laura were the ultimate hosts as well with the cutest welcome basket and binder with helpful info and tips for Whidbey Island. They were also super attentive and communicative while we were there checking in if we needed anything!
Thank you to Peter and Laura for letting us have such a great house to spend time with all our family while we were there for a wedding.
We will be back for sure!!

Wow! This house and location was absolutely perfect and so picturesque and perfect for our large family. This home is gorgeous! The kitchen is well equipped and the layout of the home is perfect to accommodate a group. We really enjoyed playing yard games and relaxing on the back deck.

They worked with us to ensure our ~20 person wedding reception could be exactly what we envisioned. The home and property is stunning, has an amazing view, and the courtyard is especially beautiful.
We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift and the basket of blankets was a hit with all of our guests when it got cool outside. The kitchen was well appointed for a serious chef and the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. They've thought of everything.
I hope we can stay here again and will be pointing our friends to Peter and Laura's place as well.

Great Whidbey Island property near everything
This house is big with a huge front yard and a well done backyard with nice plants and flowers.
We have 5 families staying in the house for a fishing trip for 5 days. It is near everything on the island and next to the main road of the island so it is easy and quick to get to everywhere.
The host has been great and very easy to communicate with. Everything was as described. We definitely enjoyed our stay there!

This was the best VRBO property our family has ever used. All the indoor spaces were incredibly usable and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large family and children. The outdoor space was the best part and where we spent most of our time. The gardens and landscaping were beautiful! Sunsets on the porch made for quality family time. Love love love this property.

We love this house!
We have come to Whidbey 5 years in a row and stayed in different homes each time. This house was our most favorite so far! Very comfortable and the property is so beautiful. It was perfect for the kids to run around outside and the courtyard is stunning. We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic Stay in Whidbey Island
The house was great! It was a fantastic place to stay. Everything that we needed was there. The kitchen had everything you could ask for, and we used the Traeger grill a few times and it worked really well. Lots of towels, blankets and other supplies were available for our use as well. Our dog had so much fun running around the courtyard and front yard—plenty of space to roam and play. The wifi was extremely fast and we had no problems getting broadband connections for work and school. Booking the place was super easy and the owner was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We sat out on the front porch to enjoy the amazing views and sunsets. The place is within minutes to a grocery store and other shops, but also is secluded enough to feel like you’re away from it all. We hope to return again soon.

Wonderful and Relaxing
This property was amazing. Everyone loved the space afforded within the house and the property. Very clean and private residence and we loved that it was pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again and the owners were easy to work with and responsive.
