Location was great . Close to the beach and all amenities. There was no breafast.

Braai Area : Should have some cover . When it rained which we experienced is quite a challenge to braai in the rain. The braai itself is too deep, should have at least 2 levels. The thatch requires some attention.

The house is really beautiful with modern furniture and design. Calvin allowed us to check out at 1pm which was great. The pool was clean and available for us to use

The day we left I did an inspection with Calvin and everything was on par. 3 days later I get informed that a towel is missing, a throw is missing and also a curtain is torn. We were so surprised as the towels upstairs where never touched as I myself slept upstairs and we brought our own towels. On our inspection with Calvin we checked all windows so I'm not sure why we didn't see the torn curtain. The throw was later said to be found by the cleaner. What was worse for me was the fact that he would repeatedly tell me he doesn't need my money as if us booking there was unnecessary for him and our stay was of no gain or benefit for him. This was when I was fighting for them not to unfairly take money from our deposit. My advice would be, take a video or pictures while doing the inspection. These people are crooks and don't want to give a full refund of the deposit.

The house was welcoming enough to make us feel at home n the pictures we saw when we madethe booking was exactly what we found, the house is homely and was very clean.

Did not like all the deposit fees rules that we recieved after arriving as most of them were absured and unreasonable and were not stated on booking.com The house does need a dishwasher since we as clients have to do the dishes n cleaning. Pest control for ants is needed because wow in the mornings the house is filled with ants if night before was not properly cleaned. Also did not like the fact that the were toiletries but guests were not to use them. The house does need new floors as the current floors have burnt marks and now all guests have to pay for what was already there when booking.

These guys are literally misleading people, they first requested for breakage fee of R2 000 abs on booking.com it states “this will be reimbursed on checkout” which wasn’t the case as they changed this and said this should be paid via EFT and will be refunded by EFT which isn’t the case on your “important information”. They want an additional R500 for cleaning on top of the R2 000 breakage fee that we paid. The cleaning fee IS NOT mentioned on booking.com. This is definitely misleading to customers. After inquiring they said “due to the last people that stayed these changes had to be made”. These changes weren’t updated on booking.com, we wouldn’t have booked if all of this was on your site, we would’ve been prepared. If you weren’t happy with your previous customers, all these changes should’ve been made known to your future customers for them to prepare themselves and know what to expect and not be surprised in the last minute. UPDATING YOUR CHANGES IS VITAL FOR NEW CUSTOMERS!!!
