Good location at a fair price
The check-in process was horrible. There was only one family in front of us checking in and the took 23 minutes to clear the desk. I repeatedly complained about the unnecessary delay but the staff member and customer engaged in a lengthy and irrelevant conversation which eventually became obviously intended to irritate me. My wife and I just wanted a key so that we could drop our luggage and pee after a long drive. Inexcusable! I wish that I could have fired the clerk myself.

Your breakfast employee named Shanetta was exceptional as she greeted everyone cheerfully and helped anyone who came to her counter. She looked for ways to ease confusion we might have had finding things we needed. She wanted us to have anything that might assist us in eating our breakfast. It was refreshing to see
My husband came with a headache (the beginning of a virus) and tried to relax on the balcony but the noise from the pool was more than his head could take. He would have like to have been given the option to be on a different side of the building away from the pool noise. He was also disappointed because he wanted a room with a tub (for my sake - since we only own showers in our house) and would have liked for it to be clearer at the time of booking online - if we were getting a room with a tub or not.

The location was great. Right by the Pompano pier, restaurants, shops, beach of course.
The hotel is new, staff professional, breakfast ok. Parking is paid ($28), but easy and well organized by the hotel.
The AC in the room is so noisy that we were half of the night up. We left it at 76F, so it would work less, still we felt like we are sleeping in the middle of runway at the airport, that's how loud it is! It's a shame. Such a beautiful, new hotel and such an old style outdated AC unit. Why?
