Cruachan Hotel

Rooms were very updated and had a great bathroom for warming ourselves after hiking the west highland way. Location was just beyond high street along the beautiful loch. Breakfast was filling and had many options.

Fine

I prefer poached to scrambled eggs

It had a lift! Lovely old building, well appointed rooms

All good

Comfortable Bed, blackout curtains. Free parking. Within walking distance of Fort William centre.

Theres no atmosphere or hospitality has a cold clinical feel to the place. In the bar area sparse and un inviting. Breakfast is not the best quality produce for the cost. The Continental food is set up in an alcove which get crowded which results in banging into other guests and the tables are too close together to be able to pass through. There was scaffolding up outside the hotel and works being completed from early morning until late, this was not advised but we were notified after booking.
