What an amazing place!! Bunk beds for the kids, a well stocked kitchen, and felt like home. So clean!! They thought of all the little things to make our stay comfortable.

This place was the perfect spot for a weekend get away. Quick walk to the beach and a very cute deck space to hang out. Inside is super clean and beautifully decorated. 10/10 would recommend !

Cottage had everything we needed including a jacuzzi. Halloween candy was a nice treat! Would definitely go back in the summer. Walking distance to Lake Michigan and a few minutes' drive to Warren Dunes.

The house was great, very clean, plenty of room. It contained everything we needed. The house is close to many restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend and will return.

I've stayed in many VRBO properties and you can't beat this one for cleanliness, fits all your guests comfortably, added amenities a huge bonus, such as a fully stocked kitchen with everything but your food and beverages, firewood by the fire pit, a very clean hot tub and a quick walk to the beach with chairs and a cart they supply. I highly recommend this property for this fun area of Michigan. This was our 2nd time staying and we're signing up for next year! Thank you to Tammy and Steven for making your home so cozy and for making us feel at home!

My favorite VRBO yet! First, the communication with the homeowners was wonderful, I appreciated that. The house was immaculate. It smelled absolutely wonderful upon walking in. If they could sell this smell in a bottle I would buy it haha They have thought about everything! If you forgot it, they have it. There were plenty of fans throughout the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house was so cozy and welcoming. The beach was a close walk and it was beautiful. I couldn’t believe how nice the sand is! There were kids books/magna-tiles there and my son loved that. They provide a cabinet full of games/activities as well. Can’t say enough good things about this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we appreciate you opening your wonderful home to us.

I'm a VRBO veteran, having rented in SW Michigan about 7 times prior to this year. This rental was the best yet -- the reviews don't lie: The owners of Lake Escape have thought of everything. From providing enough sundries (TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent) for the week to having extra toiletries on hand and both random items you might not think you need (a hot dog toaster!) and pens/pencils/pads of paper and a USB charger next to the bed I slept in, they really hit the mark. The place is spotless, too, and despite being near the train, we slept very well and enjoyed the quiet of Union Pier evenings. But if you are a light sleeper or have little ones who aren't on a regular schedule, you might find the train startling. Other than that, you can't beat being right next to the Whistle Stop Grocery and Red Arrow Roadhouse either (the latter especially on the first evening, when you're too tired to grocery shop.). A quick note on the 4/5 for check-in: It took awhile for me to figure out which compartment of the key lock box I should be prying open to retrieve the key. I had to YouTube it. If you have more experience with key lock boxes, this won't be a problem for you! We will definitely book a stay here again next time we visit Union Pier!

We are return renters. We love the BEACH, super nice area for walking and bike riding. Quiet and close to everything! Such a cozy home! We loved it once again!!

The cottage was amazing. It is immaculate and super cute. It was perfect for out family of three - super close to the beach, large backyard for the kids to run around in and had every amenity you'd wish for. I've rented a ton of VRBO's before and the owners here go above a beyond. We hope to make this a family tradition every year. FANTASTIC!

No words can describe our visit to this property. It was amazing. The house is beautiful and better than the pictures. The rooms were very well appointed. Everything was very very clean and the home smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. The home is well stocked with books and games and also toys in the bunk room which the grandkids (10 and 4) loved. The Owners thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. We had a question on our second day and they responded immediately . The proximity to the private beach was perfect, about a 5-7 minute walk and the beach was beautiful. There is also a cute cafe and restaurant about a one minute walk from the house. The hot tub was clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked another girls trip for October the day before we left. I truly cannot say enough good about this property and our trip. Can’t wait to go back!!

Lovely town with several places to eat. House is in a nice location, easy to access Lake Michigan. We didn’t need anything, a nice place for a getaway.
