Amir and Sami leave nothing to need. Everything is there , well supplied and beyond all expectations! Beautifully furnished and the welcome treats are a plus plus! Always our first choice when we need a place to stay in the Bay Area

The property is as advertised. It is a very nice studio property that is very well-appointed, spacious, and tidy. Amir was very communicative and gracious. He even brought us an iron (there was a steamer but no iron).
The directions to the property were easy from the airport and check-in and access was simple. Upon entering the property you will find very nice furnishings in a small, but spacious, unit. You enter into the bedroom area, the kitchen is beyond that, and the bath is off of the kitchen. Each area is very nicely organized. You won't feel cramped at all.
The owners have taken great pride in outfitting the spaces. It is a very comfortable unit. They provide everything from movies to chocolates to games to toiletries. They even have alcoholic beverages for sale in the room.
Our only warning is that getting in and out of the bathtub to shower can be a little tricky, particularly for people of diminutive stature, as it is pretty high. There is a shower curtain that encircles the tub, so it may be a little claustrophobic to some.
We also would like to see alternative seating in the bedroom area, just so you don't have to sit on the bed all the time.
Overall, this is a GREAT property. We would recommend it to anyone staying in this area. Amir should be commended for being a great host with a great property.

The cottage was small, but really nice and cozy! They even had to spare toothbrush’s. I will definitely stay there again if I ever need to get out of the Fresno heat.

My husband and I were absolutely smitten with this cottage. Clean, quiet and decorated beautifully. We had all our needs met including a Nesspresso machine!!!!!
We even enjoyed tomatos from the garden. I highly reccomended this stay.

We love this studio. The hosts provided special coffee’s (espresso and ground coffee for French press).
So many little touches - great selection of jazz CDs and books by DH Lawerence, Doris Lessing and others.
Very homey place. Wish we had a few more days to listen to the glorious water fountain and do some bird watching.

My wife and I were looking for a location to stay that was close to Berkeley, where we were to attend a wedding and other events, but also convenient to the National Parks in the SF area and Napa Valley. This location fit the bill nicely.
This house, while small, is very well appointed. It's well decorated and the attention to detail is remarkable.
The kitchen has everything that you'd need, as well as 4 different ways to make a cup of coffee. The bathroom also has items that you may think you need to pack, but they're already here, such as a blow dryer and steamer. There was cold bottled water in the fridge, and chocolates on the counter. And there's a small, quiet patio outside the front door which is ideal for coffee and breakfast in the morning. We were very happy with our stay here.

Great little setup
This little cottage had everything one might need for a getaway to the bay. The decorations and overall atmosphere of the property was great and it was stocked with every amenity we needed. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The effort they put into the property and those who rent from them showed and was much appreciated. Only thing to look out for with this place: the parking space was very narrow and had a significant dip. Not a big deal, just had to take it slow. Overall, my girlfriend and I had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy getaway.

Pampered
When we think of the times my wife and I have stayed in “our California cottage”, we think of the special feeling we have being so pampered by our hosts. Our most recent stay was for Christmas and we were overjoyed to open the door and find the cottage decorated throughout. Knowing that our grandkids would visit us at the cottage during our stay, our hosts even left a present under the tree just for them!

Wonderful space
Amazing access so one can come and go, beautifully decorated interior with thoughtful touches(loofahs, toothbrush/toothpaste, full selection wine bar), super comfortable bed. Very easy communication with fabulous hosts.
Will gladly stay again.

Cute little cottage
Emir and Sami out did themselves as hosts. We were there to welcome our new granddaughter and they generously left us a bottle of champagne as a welcome to our family. The snacks they set out as we arrived was so special The cottage is a gem! I can’t rave enough about this find. We will be back for sure! Everything was comfy and cozy from the bedding to the towels and bath supplies. Very thoughtful in every way! 💜

A Perfect Cottage for Two
From the very first moment we entered the cottage, we were amazed and delighted by the thought and care that our hosts put into every detail of our surroundings and our experience. This was a feeling we continued to have throughout our week-long stay.
Entering our private driveway, we walked across our pleasant patio with tables, comfortable seating, and a beautiful garden. A fire pit and barbeque was prepared and ready for our use.
Entering the cottage, we were greeted by a bright and inviting bed, pleasant and adequate storage, an entertainment center, and comfortable raised seating at the counter to the kitchen. A fruit bowl and dish of chocolates let us know that we had no cares. Everything was clean, first rate, new, and provided to pamper us.
Passing through to the kitchen, we found coffees and several coffee makers and teas and a fine electric kettle. (Note, since returning home, we searched for and purchased both the French press and kettle to pamper ourselves at home as well.) A well-equipped kitchen was ours and delightful table and seating provided yet another place to sit and enjoy snacks and meals. Bottles of water and several sizes of ice were prepared and available as well as spices and other niceties and necessities.
Off the kitchen was the adorable bathroom with plush towels, toiletries, and clawfoot tub that we were eager to use.

Great Cottage in the East Bay
My wife and I stayed with Amir in El Sobrante, CA for three weeks in May 2021. The cottage is located in the back yard of his house and arranged so that you have plenty of privacy. You have your own private driveway and your own private patio. While the cottage is small (475 square feet), it is extremely well organized. Thus, two people could live there very comfortably and we did. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The TV was great. The kitchen was well-stocked for two people with kitchen ware, coffees (your choice of Nespresso, French press, or instant), teas, spices, etc. The bathroom had a cute claw footed tub. It included several choices for shampoos, body wash, etc. and fluffy comfortable towels like you would find in a fine hotel. It also included new tooth brushes, and tooth paste. The whole cottage was tastefully decorated and in fact, cute as a button. My wife and I have used VRBO quite often (perhaps 30 times). Amir and his wife were the best hosts we have ever had. Whenever, we had a question, needed help, or needed something we texted him and he got back to us almost immediately. In addition, we were welcomed with iced champagne, chocolates, cookies, and a large bowl of fruit. Amir’s cottage would be a great place to stay if you are visiting the East Bay. In addition, it is close to BART where you can catch rapid transit into San Francisco.

The place was super clean and felt just like home. Had everything one needs. Quiet neighborhood. The host was quick to reply to msgs and very helpful and understanding. If I'm ever back in the are, you bet, I'd book it again! The experience was two thumbs up
