The property was lovely. We enjoyed everything from the log burner to the conservatory. It was well equipped and tastefully decorated.

Cottage was lovely and not far from the Cliff top. Lovely walks would go again.

Good accommodation including conservatory and garden, large and well equipped kitchen. Nice quiet neighbourhood and a real advantage having such lovely walks on doorstep.

We loved the accommodation, they had thought of everything you would need for a stay and some.. there was also a lovely light surprise at night In the garden when the sun went down. They were very accommodating with our two dogs that we took with us also. Would recommend for a great place to stay.

The price for a one night stay was quite high seen as check in was 3pm and check out was 11am, I believe this was down to the cleaning cost that was factored in.

We have booked to stay again in September. The house has such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere we settled in straight away. It’s an easy walk into the village to the Co Op or to have a drink in one of the pubs. There are a couple of fish and chip shops. The house was really clean and well equipped for everything we needed, we wish we could have stayed longer.

There isn't enough hot water to run a full bath, was plenty for the toddler but not enough for us. Shower nice and warm but very noisy. Cutlery drawer broke and needs repair. Oven doesn't heat evenly.

Location was good.15 minutes walk into the village. There was everything you could want. We went for Christmas and they had put up a tree and left a welcoming gift. The cottage was very comfortable.

There wasn't much wrong apart from maybe a blind would be a good idea in the bathroom as we felt that the neighbours at the back of the property could see in.

House was loverly having two bedroom s .the wine and choc biscuits on arrival was so nice x.took 10mins to cook pizza from cold oven soon gets hot compared to mine. Well presented house.everthing needed .home from home xxxdogs welcome .bonus

Need blind inthe bathroom .lino put down properly.sofa away from the radiator keeping the room cold .two chairs be better .but really loverly house shame was no parking.fridge in wrong place struggle open it close it .

A nice quiet location in Flamborough. Excellent communication from Matt & Michelle prior to our stay. The cottage is an ideal base for the local attractions in Flamborough. Also within easy reach of the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. Excellent walks from the front door of the cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and you do not want for anything. Excellent clean bedding and towels were provided. Good free WIFI along with TV channels available via the Firestick. Enclosed gardens to front and rear of the property. We stayed with our Springer Spaniel and the property was ideal.

Hopefully this will be received as 'positive feedback' With regards to the overall cleanliness, given the cleaning charge (which is included in the price £140). We thought that some internal areas of the cottage, slightly let it down from being a 10/10. Splatter marks on the kitchen hob splash back, worktops and sink. Lots of 'fluff' around the wooden floors. The shower screen and bath with dried water marks.

Hartendale has everything you could want for a good self catering holiday - and somethings you might not want but are handy to have e.g. iron, washing machine etc. The location was great: on the edge of the village with walks from the front door and a co-op in Flamborough so no need to drive once you get there unless you want to venture further afield. The property is very comfortable with lovely living room and kitchen (bigger and better than they look on the photos). There was a nice welcome pack, tea, coffee, washing up liquid etc which is always great when self-catering. Plus games and jigsaws.

We stayed there as a group of 6 which didn’t quite work. The sofa bed is not ideal for 2 adults (one 6’2”) and doesn’t really work for kids as the living room has the stairs going up from it so can’t be shut off at bedtime. Would definitely stay there again, but as a group of four next time! Only other suggestion - some maps / local guidebooks?

Bath quite deep to step over from shower water going over sides of bath onto floor at times.But nice size.Nice white towels. Could do with one room single beds or example bunks single bed rather than sleeping down stairs. Hope u dont mind me saying.

We loved everything about this gorgeous cottage! The location was perfect, really quiet, parking right outside, and very close to wonderful cliff top walks. Inside the cottage was better than expected, and we loved the Prosecco and salted caramel marshmallows, such a lovely touch to make us feel immediately welcomed! The decor was lovely, everything tailored to a make it a comfortable and totally relaxing stay with all that we could want. We both slept so well!! The weather was fabulous too, which added to the whole stay and we will definitely come back

This cosy cottage is spotlessly clean, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Lots of additional touches make this a great place to stay. It’s dog friendly, with an enclosed garden. Fabulous walks from the house onto the coast path.
