Very friendly and amazing staff. Very good facility and food.
The place is a bit difficult to find and access. There were also constant power outages. No WiFi.
5.0
Nice river view, with steep steps to the River Nile, BUT NOT IN JINJA.
The huts are quite cute, but we didn't use them as there was no power.
Great breakfast, but didn't realise it cost extra.
If it was a holiday, it would be great, but as it is deceptive on the map, this is not appropriate for our needs.
IT IS NOT IN JINJA, it is well over half an hour on a road barely passable by normal car.
IT IS NOT WHERE IT IS MARKED ON THE BOOKING. COM MAP
so this was significant as we needed to be in Jinja itself for work. I heard others also booking based on that map complained.
It has no board to say where it is, we had to phone several times to find the entrance through a locked gate.
There was no electricity or power when we arrived, but this was not the fault of this place, it was a local power cut, but difficult in such a rural area.

This place is exceptionally beautiful. The views of the Nile are breathtakingly stunning. The privacy and authenticity is unmatchable and Lawrence who works there is the best.
The breakfast was nice and served on a viewing platform overlooking the Nile River and lots of greenery. Truly magical experience.
Very remote and private.
Loved the chickens, ducks and Turkey just roaming about.
The person who owns or manages the place needs a lesson in customer service. She was not present for my stay but most communication was with her as per her request. But she does not reply or responds to calls. Once I was stuck outside the property for 20 mins with no one to let me in. no response or apology. Taxi driver had to jump the gates to get the staff to open up.
I seriously advice for the owner/staff to offer a pick up service from Jinja Town.
Needs better management.

My one of favorite place in Uganda. If you want to hide from people, if you want to create your own quality time, if u don’t like the fancy tourist places this is the place to go in Jinja.
Have different type of room, or tent. I took their tent, it’s good tent, with great mattress. Night in the tent without rain is amazing, with insects songs and river song made my night wonderful.
However the rain and wind can destroy that beautiful experience. I got rain in my second night, wet wet. The staffs arrived to my tent almost immediately, and help me to move under the roof. Here, it can have some issues if we have a lot of tent in the same time, there is no big space under the roof. I was lucky that I was alone with the tent. Staffs, changed wet bedsheets, blanket immediately, so that I can sleep without issue.
Staffs and owner, all of them are very helpful. Most of the staff doesn’t speak good English, but the amazing chef is helpful, he cooks well and give good information, help for other request. Owner, Queen is very informative, I advise that you call to her before you go there, so that she can give good advice to reach to the place, or arrange the transport. She will not charge you higher rate. Her rate can be the best rate. I didn’t call her in advance, so I have to pay more than triple price. 😅 N lost a lot of time n energy.
Food! The most important part.
The food there is super delicious. Big breakfast. For dinner and lunch, you can order in advance to cook or you can even prepare your own dishes. They have basic kitchen that you can use, n BBQ place. Meat can be provided from village, n fish can come from Nile river.
Also, we can enjoy the Nile. Swim… or canoe. Call some canoes around the river n you can visit a bit the area. Well, there is no life jacket.
I want to go back there again.
If you are not beer drinker, bring your own drink. If not you can still ask bodaboda guy to go to town n buy. The price of beer in BN is the best in all Uganda.
The charging point, I didn’t check with them how the system work as my stay is only 2 nights n I have enough power with my power bank n computer. Seem the system is not working full time.
A bit difficult to find the place, there is no signboards.

Environment very fresh and comfortable
Loved the ambiance and the concept of being a private place for a personal time
Obviously as a place that is still growing I recommend adjustment on the rooms and put enough airation and brighter lights in the rooms.

It’s a perfect place to chill and relax by the nature. The resort gives a phenomenon view over the River Nile. There are many activities that one can enjoy eg; boat riding, tubing, swimming or reading book
