The Horseshoe Inn

Very pleasant, comfortable rooms in a homely local pub. Enjoyed the local area, the atmosphere, and the friendly interactions with staff and other tenants. Very simple check in/out process. Good for a drink.

Minor issues throughout the experience were a little annoying during the stay, nothing that ruined the experience but enough to prevent a glowing review. Here are some very minor things that could be improved upon: -No handwash in the bathroom -Only plug available was right under the bed, requiring crawling under to use -Lighting in the hallways and stairway was low, making it difficult to navigate -Room was a little untidy upon arrival -Food was not amazing for the price - although this is understandable in this instance as it seemed the kitchen was having some serious issues during my visit and this is not the norm -Service was also fairly slow but again this is likely due to exceptional circumstances on the day in question

We had to find somewhere open to have breakfast which involved driving to the nearest town.
