Spacious 6BR Family Home – Just 3 Blocks to Bethany Beach in The Canal Community
Dieses Ferienhaus (Rauchen nicht erlaubt) ist nicht weit vom Jachthafen und von Weinguttouren entfernt. Zu Fuß erreichst du einige Sehenswürdigkeiten im Nullkommanichts, darunter Bethany Beach Beaches (9 Gehminuten) und Bethany Beach Boardwalk (10 Gehminuten).
Wieso jeden Abend Geld im Restaurant ausgeben, wenn dir in deinen eigenen vier Wänden eine Herdplatte, ein Kühlschrank und ein Geschirrspüler sowie ein Eiswürfelbereiter, eine Mikrowelle und ein Toaster zur Verfügung stehen. Zur Ausstattung des Badezimmers gehört ein Whirlpool. Und damit du nicht so viel Kleidung einpacken musst, stehen dir vor Ort außerdem eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner zur Verfügung. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and thought that it was a good house and location for the price. The owner was responsive and sent people out to address a few issues. That being said, there were a few things to note:1. The twin beds on the first floor are makeshift beds on a wooden frame, and are uncomfortable. When we first arrived, there were no slats and the mattress would fall through the frame and onto the floor. The owner sent someone out and had this fixed, but it is definitely something that should have been addressed ahead of time.2. The wifi needs to be upgraded to support the number of people for that sized house. It was very slow.3. Several outlets did not work, and several bedroom door locks did not work. 4. The water heater should also be upgraded to accommodate the number of people that would be staying in that house. There were multiple instances where guests did not have hot water.5. There was an issue with the garbage disposal, but the owner quickly coordinated to have that fixed.These issues can easily be overlooked when considering the price and location.

6 years in Bethany, 3 years at this house for our family of 14 from 3 to 64 years old. Great space for whole group gatherings and for the many smaller spaces as well. Added new kitchen appliances this year.

As a multi-generational family, we were thrilled with our rental. Plenty of space to spread out; a room for our jigsaw puzzles, separate den, gathering and dining spaces ... wrap-around and screened in porches. An extra bonus was the upstairs suite with Jacuzzi and the outdoor, enclosed shower. Walking distance to beach and center of town. The free trolley stopped around the corner; our teens enjoyed biking several miles.

Overall the house was in decent shape, though dated and albeit a bit musty. Our only complaint was that none of the outlets in the master or other upstairs bathroom worked.
