Villa Carrubo is a unique place —a beautiful, home set on a hillside among olive trees. It’s a house with soul, the lovely stone interior, decorative ceramics, and atmospheric lighting. There is a cozy living room with a beautiful view of the garden. The villa is well-equipped (a dishwasher, a washing machine, kitchen utensils, spices etc.). The garden is filled with beautiful plants and trees, offering a magnificent view of the olive grove and Noto town. The pool was fantastic—warm water, gentle on the skin and cleaned daily—providing lots of fun and a great spot to relax. There are plenty of relaxation areas in the garden, including a seating nook under an olive tree and dining spots perfect for Sicilian dinners. The location is excellent—close to Noto and the Vendicari Reserve, with beautiful beaches nearby. Cristiano is a wonderful host, he gave us a warm welcome, shared interesting stories, showed us the whole property, and even gifted us his own homemade olive oil—it was very kind 😊. He was helpful during our stay and provided a list of recommendations covering beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. We will have lovely memories of our time at Carrubo. A wonderful place where you can relax after sightseeing in the nearby towns. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! Cristiano met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of the property, showing us where everything is and giving some background into the property. He gave lots of recommendations for things to see and do nearby which was very helpful. The property was very well maintained and had everything we needed. We would definitely be visiting again!

Das Haus liegt oberhalb von Noto in den Bergen, ca. 5 Autominuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Es ist eingebettet in die Olivenplantagen/-bäume und die umfangreiche Vegetation und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Noto und die Küste. Bei unserem Haus wurde ein altes Gemäuer aus dem 12 Jahrhundert sehr umfangreich und geschmackvoll saniert und durch einen modernen Glasanbau erweitert. Um das Haus herum stehe riesige, teils sehr alte Oliven- und Mandelbäume und verleihen dem ohnehin schon umwerfenden Haus eine ganz besondere, individuelle und gemütliche Note. Der große und gepflegte Pool, welcher nur für das angemietete Haus zur Verfügung steht, ist etwa 50 m vom Haus entfernt. Das Anwesen, in dem etwas abseits auch Christiano der Eigentümer wohnt, ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Christiano selber ist der ideal Gastgeber, freundlich, unauffällig und zurückhaltend, aber da wenn man ihn braucht und stets kommunikativ und gut gelaunt. Er hatte uns bei Ankunft schon ca. 30 Links zu Stränden, Städten, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung gesendet und uns so den Einstieg leicht gemacht.
