Prime location in Guerneville, you get to feel so tucked away but you’re a quick 5 minute drive to restaurants, Safeway, the river and the beach! The home was very very cozy, it took us back in time to see the DVDs :) The place felt truly like a home where we could relax. Beds were super comfy - this coming from two more particular people who generally don’t like hotel beds. We honestly chose this spot because my partner and I prefer to sleep separately and most if not all of Guerneville hotels only seemed to provide one Queen bed. Check-in and check-out were both incredibly easy. The skylight in the master bedroom and the windows in the sunroom were my favorite, I already miss waking up to the view of the beautiful trees out front. We also spent quality time on the porch swing reading which was so nice and peaceful! The home is well equipped with a full kitchen, towels, fans, and blankets. We didn’t feel like we needed anything additional during our stay. All in all, we can see ourselves using this rental again - maybe next year, when we bring home our puppy.

Honestly, when we arrived the home smelt very heavily of wet dog. We booked the spot for a wedding in town and didn’t realize how much it was advertised as “dog-friendly”, so I thought we just had to deal with our mistake. I opened all the windows and after a day, the smell was reduced quite a bit. Initially, the smell was so strong that I was worried it would soak into our clothes and my hair. I’m glad that there is so much ventilation in the home, because it didn’t end up being an issue - just jarring on the first night. This would be an ideal spot for those with dogs, the home was clean but you also have the comfort of knowing your pets are welcome :) There was a dog bed, doggie door, backyard, and additional amenities I probably would notice if I had brought a furry friend. There is also no AC - we arrived with highs of 95 so I was worried about this. But thanks to the ventilation, it wasn’t an issue except in the sunroom and while getting done up for the wedding. There are also a TON of fans for use in the closet which was a big help.

The property was excellent with all the necessary amenities. Very comfortable and well located from center of town. Very relaxing property. Definitely will consider rebooking property again next year. The place we formerly stayed at closed a couple of years ago so we haven't been visiting Russian River since. Now we have a new location to call home for a short period.

Unfortunately I left my phone which had the code to open the door in the house and I shut the door without realizing it. I had to go through a number of steps to access my mail account from my husband's phone so I could obtain the code. It was my error in this instance.

Wonderful, well stocked and comfortable cabin with amazing skylights showing off the incredible grove of coastal redwoods right on the property. Although a bit dated, everything was very comfortable and clean and a wonderful value for summer in Guerneville. Would highly recommend based on value.

Yes, it's a older place and some of the fixtures are dated, like the ceiling fan in the den. But, the place is spacious, clean and very well stocked.
