A great place - good location (near both stations), great experience of living in Japanese house in tatami room and using typical Japanese bathroom.
Great host - she was very helpful, provided us with a lot of information, small gifts and great, robust and healthy breakfast (as an extra service).
everything was perfect.

Everything. It’s very close to the train station; an easy 10-12 minute walk on flat ground. The host is spectacular. She went above and beyond any chance she could; she was very kind and sweet. Our room was decent size; ju ni jo ( which is 12 tatami mats) for 3 people. She made us breakfast, she drove us to the onsen, she even dropped us off at the train station. I’ve never had a host be so kind and helpful.
Everything was great.

The house is within a very short walk from the station. The room was warm while cold outside and the futons very comfortable. What made the place extra special was the very kind host. She gave us good explanations about how to get around by bus and made us a lovely breakfast
