Location was good.

Room was not cleaned. Nothing was cleaned before we got there. Had to message management which was an inconvenience . Had to drive out so we could get phone to work. The house cleaner came and cleaned that evening. House cleaner was great. Will not be staying here again. Never checked in a place that wasn’t ready and didn’t have anyone there to talk to . Bad experience! One night power went off, no generator. You would think at this cost you would install a generator.

The lodge was clean and that's the way we left it. We enjoyed wandering around Lake Lure.

I didn't like that I had to pay $150 for a cleaning fee when I had to wash the towels and sheets before I left. I never had to do laundry for the cleaning people. Why am I paying so much if I'm doing half their work???
