Check in was easy. We had 4 people staying in the condo my husband and I, our son, and my mom. The condo was clean. The layout is a little bit odd with one of the rooms connected to the living room so it is not very private but it works. There is plenty of storage and closet space. The bathrooms were roomy enough, The view and location is what you'er paying for. The a/c worked great and we were very happy we had it. We had 4 other groups that stayed at different condo's near us none with a/c and they all commented on how nice it was in our condo. The beach chairs and boogie boards were nice to have. The kitchen is well equip with everything you'll need. There is not much space to put your food away but we made it work.

It would have been appreciated if we would have known ahead of time that the bar and restaurant were under construction during our vacation stay. Also only 1 elevator was operational. Fortunately we were on the 2nd floor so we used the stairs. The grounds were well maintained and the beach was beautiful. Everything in the condo was in good working order.

We loved our stay at Mana Kai resort! Beautiful beach and nice central location to other areas of the island. We would gladly stay here again.

Met our expectations for sure! Very clean, plenty of extra pillows and linens. The view is fantastic - sunsets at night (at least we had that in December), amazing colors and light in the early morning. Since it's Maui, you'll have a car and there are a ton of restaurants and shopping up and down the blvd at the entrance, though you could certainly do some walking. A few important notes: - Be aware that this is only the 2nd floor and there's likely to be the owner of the unit above you walking around. It's not super loud, but you can definitely hear anyone up there. Also, while our stay was relatively quiet, the condo doors close loudly. No worse than most any hotel or similar condo, just take note if you're a light sleeper. - It's Hawaii - roosters are everywhere and can't tell time. Part of the charm, just know you'll hear them at any hour. - The unit may officially be 202C, but the door just says 202 and inside, you'll only see A and B. You're there! - The front desk was only open until about 5:30pm for the parking pass, just a heads up. - Five Palms on the property is very expensive. We only ordered from them on our first night as it was late and we were needing easy take-out. The setting looks amazing (the condo overlooks a part of it's patio seating), but the food we had wasn't worth the price. $120 for 2 adults and 2 nine yr olds, including gratuity. They messed up the kids' orders and my $25 burger wasn't that great - maybe previously frozen, pressed tight, no sauce of any kind and pretty boring. My son's burger from the kids' menu was the EXACT same thing (just different cheese) - same size, same amount of very average fries - but $12 or so less. My wife enjoyed her green curry mahi mahi, but give this some real thought before ordering considering the price. And if you love a good burger, go for something else! - Finally, neither bathroom had a fan (privacy, smell mitigation). Just FYI if you're loud and stinky! :) Otherwise, we were VERY happy with our stay, the ease in working with Vacasa (property manager/owner) and their timely texts with pertinent info. Enjoy!

The king beds are very comfortable, We did not use the sofa sleeper so can't comment on that. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots and pans etc. The owner provided beach chairs, an insulated cooler bag which we used to bring drinks and food to the beach. The bathrooms were ample for 2 people. Extra bath towels beach towels and sheets were a plus. The furniture was dated but this did not deter us from giving a 5 star rating as we loved being so close to the beach. The place was very clean when we arrived. Vacasa called us to check in on our second day to see if everything was meeting our needs. A nice customer service touch. We went to the on-site restaurant for happy hour which had delicious drinks and food. Service was prompt. A tip for future renters: put your chairs out early in the morning to capture the spot you want on the beach. Do this again for sunset.

The condo has lots of clean bath and beach towels (enough for our family of four needed for an 11-night stay). Note that you will only be provided a couple of dishwasher detergent tabs and rolls of toilet paper so will need to purchase more of those. They provided dish detergent, salt and pepper, and cooking oil. Overall this condo is excellent!

You can snorkel right in front of the resort (daily turtle sightings included). The view from the unit is stunning - and the lanai is a perfect place to watch the sunset.
