The property had a comfortable bed and other comfortable furniture and a newly fitted bathroom which was clean with a good shower. The kitchen area has all the essentials.

The property is not exactly a cottage, more a tin structure with rather dark and gloomy interior and unfortunately a strong musty smell. The approach to the property was through some rough corrugated iron gates and the balcony overlooked another tin roofed structure with a mostly obstructed view of the nearby hills. There were cobwebs in many places and some kitchen ware was not very clean or was dusty. The front faced a very run down comercial garage and the property was at the least attractive end of town. The guide books over egg the charm of Bellingen and this property fell into the same category. It was extremely expensive for what it offered and compares very unfavourably for value for money compared to all the other properties we have stayed at on this trip. Even at half the price we would have thought it less than great value for money.

Great location for access into town, brewery close by and cafes. Nice and quiet, comfy bed, clean and great pressure from the shower! Everything in there for a comfy stay. Mangos and the wildlife in the tree off the balcony.

The outside (entrance and rear balcony) could do with tidying up to make it more welcoming

Location was very hard to find even though it ended up being exactly behind the Main Street, council need to deal with road, Road unleavened. Street address listed was incorrect for entry of property.

The address of the property was not clear, nor the entry to the property. While suiting to the village, I had concerns over fire safety in regard to the dry bushes and leaves everywhere. Outside was unmoved and unkept.

Great location, including parking, often a problem in Bellingen. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and scenic riverside walks. Excellent facilities, including very pleasant balcony almost literally built into a large tree. Genial host, helpful and cheery. We'll come again.

A very little thing, as everything else was so good: Shower wash liquid was supplied, but it would have been nice to also have some handwash soap or liquid for the sink.

The location it right off the main strip yet in a location where it's whisper quiet. The view from the back deck was incredible. It's a very homely and comfortable space
