A fantastic location with spectacular view and ideal for visiting the various sites at Vergina with very helpful and charming hosts

We really enjoyed our stay at Estate Kalaitzis! The owners were very sweet and welcoming, the room comfortable, the views from the terrace outside beautiful, the plentiful cats entertaining and the home cooked food (and the wine from their vinyard) delicious! Eleni and her husband couldn’t have been nicer, we will remember their hospitality fondly and hope to return some day.

The property has a majestic appearance with a stunning view. The hostess Jota is most friendly and provided us with lots of information. The room has a classical appearance but it’s really clean.

The host -though friendly, appeared totally drained of energy. The so-called outstanding breakfast consisted exclusively of supermarket products and little standard hotel marmelade, honey, butters. Quite disappointing for such a majestic estate. The bar and dining room are a mess, and outside several lamp posts have fallen over and the fontain at the entrance didn’t work. The bar has a beautiful selection of wines, yet they only served a mediocre wine. Nothing dramatic, but the estate urgently needs a revitalisation to regain the high-end public it deserves.
