I went with my 80 year old mother, 3 year old toddler, 12 year old stepdaughter and husband and this place was perfect! Of course my stepdaughter and son took the ac room (lol) but the other rooms were great and roomy! You found not beat the view. I love the porch looking right over the sand so you dont have to be on the sand to enjoy it. My senior mother could sit o it and watch us without worrying about loosing her balance in the sand. My kids absolutely loved everything about it!! My husband and I thought it was perfect as well. You don’t have to “fight for a spot on the beach” like some other review said. Everyone has their own set spot. Ours was nice and big and perfect. The parking worked wonderfully and it was so easy getting in and out of the house. It was newly remodeled so the kitchen, floors, bathroom etc. were all gorgeous!! Thank you for letting us stay here and we can’t wait to come back in the future!!

My family and I had a great stay. The house is very cute and comfortable. Great access to a nice private beach right out of your door. All of the neighbors were very kind and friendly. Katelyn was amazing. She was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The area is amazing. There are so many beautiful towns to explore and so much to do. I definitely would recommend. Thank you!

We only had a small window of time to vacation and we loved this little property. Unfortunely the weather didn’t cooperate and it was cloudy and cold the whole weekend. But that didn’t stop our fun. It was so nice to be able to sit on the patio by the chimanea and let the kids play by the sand/water. The houses are all right next to each other and it is a shared beach but beginning of June seemed very quiet so we had the whole place to ourselves. The only issue I could see with some people is the spiral staircase to get up stairs, my mom had a small issue with it. But other than that it was a wonderful house and we would def come back!

We had the most wonderfully relaxing stay here! The house is beautiful and in such a great location. Given the time of year, it was quiet and we truly enjoyed every minute of it.

Pics are exactly as described! This house is cute and whimsical. Hosts provide a lot more than other rentals we’ve stayed at (linens, towels, margarita maker). Ocean views are gorgeous and unobstructed. Water was clean and warm enough for swimming. Great for the Littles because you don’t get big waves. It’s a very densely built up area but the neighbors who own the neighboring houses were welcoming and there was plenty of room compared to a public beach.

Perfect little house right on the beach! Updated and clean. Although the neighbors are very close, all were quite pleasant. House was well equipped with everything you could need. AC units were only upstairs, and one of the units stopped working 4 days into our vacation (I think it was overworked due to the heat wave!), but the unit in one of the bedroom hung in there thankfully! Overall a lovely home in a lovely neighborhood directly on the beach - wonderful!

The property was beautiful. Right on the beach as described. However, the write up stated there was air conditioning. The air conditioning was only in the upstairs bedrooms. My mom and I were there during a heat wave, the property was so hot you could not even sit outside under the awning without fans. There were three fans in the house. I had to buy a fourth so we were able to tolerate the heat. Central air or air conditioners should be installed downstairs.

We were very excited in the months leading up to a two-week rental of our beachfront getaway. On our first day there were learned that our beachfront was shared with not only the two other houses on the property but also from across the street. This amounted to many people for a relatively small beach area. Every day we needed to jockey for position to get any space on what we thought was our beach. We had an unfortunate exchange with the owner four days after we left. We were accused of leaving the property “excessively filthy” when in actuality, we did our absolute best to keep the place clean throughout our stay. The owner charged a cleaning fee which we feel was very unfair after paying the price we did for the rental which already included a rental fee. In closing although this place had some nice features, the beach access and the overly-stringent cleaning policy and associated charges would deter us from recommending this property to others.

It’s not for big families or very tall people (we top out at 5’10”) - being very tall would make the bathroom a challenge. But for our family of four adults it was perfect. It was clean and comfortably furnished, with updated kitchen appliances and a freshly renovated bathroom. Magnificent views as it is waterfront on LI sound. Beds are great! We hope to be back next time we visit family in Madison.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute beach house. The location being right on the water was ideal, with great sunsets & sunrises. Especially the view from the bedroom of the sunrises. The patio was great to sit outside and enjoy our meals with the peacefulness of the water and ocean breeze. We loved sitting in the living room with the wall to wall windows. The check in/out process was easy and plenty of amenities included if needed. While quite close to the neighbors, all were friendly and we did not feel uncomfortable at all. The location is ideal as well, close to great restaurants and in a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

We made the bedroom situation work with the two king size beds upstairs, and the trundle downstairs. The spiral staircase was a bit risky for the toddler, but we were able to gate it. We also appreciated the gates located on the doorways of the two upstairs bedrooms. The 16 month old likes nothing more than to tempt fate. The direct access to the beach was wonderful. There were plenty of beach toys for both kids, which was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, with just about everything I have in my kitchen at home, The margarita maker is over the top. There are other rentals/homes pretty close, so not exactly private. Long walks on the beach aren't going to happen either, as there are very distinct property lines, with small rock jetties making it impossible to walk far in either direction. However, for a three night stay to unwind and chill, this rental fit the bill. We would recommend it for sure.

My husband I stayed for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! The house is perfect for a couple or small group to relax, well set up for children, and the location can't be beat! We had some mixed weather but even on the rainy days there is a beautiful view of the sound and plenty of amenities to relax inside while listening to the waves. At 6 1/2 months pregnant I loved that everything was so clean and the beach was relatively private. So we also felt very safe, which was extremely important to us at this point. We will definitively be back with our little one!

Residence was spotless, & great location. Home owner was attentive to questions, & provided helpful advice about the area. Hope to go back again in the future.
