The curort this apartment is a part of is actually very nice. It is new, white, clean, with nice trimmed bushes, good planning (there's a dominanta at the each end of a lane - a minaret on one side, an obelisk on another). Perhaps because there were few guests, the beaches were literally full of sea-shells. The apartment itself is nice, clean, well-furnished, has a balcony etc.

The Internet didn't work at all. There was a connection, but without any Internet. The sofas are badly stained and need cleaning. Note that the curort, while being in a nice place itself, is not in Port Said, as the description indicates, but rather in a village of Izbat Shalabi al-Rudi, halfway between Port Said and Damietta (Dumyat). So for me, the description is misleading, but one can know the exact place when one clicks the Google Maps. The owner wasn't helpful. When I asked him for something, he didn't reply for 10 days, just to say he cannot help when he finally did. He didn't help me organise my coming, too. I could come by taking a service from Port Said to Damietta, I asked him about it, but he responded by saying he will send me a cab, so I resigned of this. But it turned out he won't send me a cab himself at all, I have to organise it myself as well. Moreover, contrary to the usual practice in hotels, which take a pic of my passport once I arrive (in all places I've been to, and I've been to 14 or so this time), he demanded that I send him a pic of my passport before coming, but didn't give me a prior warning and ignored my feedback that I'm not in a good place to give it at the moment (being crammed in a microbus). He also insisted to talk with the taxi driver and told him he'll have to wait there, which made the driver demand more money from me. Then there was waiting at the gate. So it reminded getting into a top-security government facility, and not a hotel. However, since he expected me at an earlier hour, and me coming late made him wait (which would be omitted if he actually corresponded with me before, and not ignored me for 10 days), I am rising his grade from 1 or 2 to 3, to try to be fair.

The stay was very good, and Dr. Walid is a polite and very cooperative person. I hope that this unit will remain good and develop for the better. The location is good, halfway between Port Said and Damietta. The place is generally quiet, beautiful and suitable for holidays.

Great location, the owner met us and walked us to the place, no problem checking in with our dog.

The apartment needs thorough cleaning; air conditioning in the bedroom did not work for heating; no towels; cigarette odor; no comforter cover, instead there were plaids and it is not hygienic.
