We absolutely loved our week at this home in Ocean Isle Beach. It is about 5 homes from the southern tip of the isle and is super private and quiet. The house was recently expanded and renovated and it showed! Two separate living areas with their own couches and TVs and views of the pool and ocean. Kitchen was extremely well-appointed with two sinks, two dishwasher, two ovens, Keurig and regular coffee maker, microwave and stove, and plenty of glasses, plates and silverware. Bedrooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. Each bedroom has a private bath. Two bedrooms (one king and two queens) on the second (main) floor with a screened in deck overlooking the dock, intercoastal waterway and sunsets. The top floor has a master with a walkout deck overlooking the ocean, another king room with a gorgeous view of the intercoastal waterway and sunsets, and a third room the kids loved with 8 bunk beds and a full bed. We had 8 adults (4 couples) and 8 kids aged 2-11. The home had everything - the kids loved the Wii game console with plenty of games, the DVD player with lots of movies and the baskets full of card games and board games. The pool was a perfect size and ranged from 3-5 feet deep. Patio furniture was extremely high quality, tables and rockers on all decks and comfortable chaise lounges, picnic table and Tiki bar by the pool with sink and mini fridge. Ground level also has a bathroom, outdoor enclosed shower, room with a full-sized fridge, two grills (one for fish and the other for other meats), and a room with plenty of beach gear. We counted at least 10 adult sized beach chairs, several boogie boards, balls, giant Jenga, bocce ball set, pool dive toys, and more. Walk out from the main level on the private boardwalk to the beach. There is a lovely gazebo to sit and gaze out with storage benches perfect for use during the week to avoid hauling things back to the house. The beach is incredible and at high tide comes up just to the steps down from the gazebo but still enough room to sit in your chairs and enjoy if you don’t want to come inside. At low tide the beach goes so far out, you have a huge beach with very shallow water and tons of tide pools for the kids to play in! You can also easily walk the beach to the tip of the isle and see a gorgeous sunset. The elevator was perfect to use to bring up suitcases and groceries. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. The dock was awesome, the kids caught flounder and had a blast! We loved this place!!

The property manager was extremely attentive and easy to communicate with from start to finish. The house was clean and recently renovated. It was probably one of the most well appointed rental properties we have ever stayed in over the years. The location is absolutely amazing with a wonderful family atmosphere. The beach is clean and well-maintained. The water was warm. We were not hesitate to recommend this particular property.

We enjoyed a family reunion here with our children and granddaughter. The house is located in a quiet gated community with wonderful views. The interior was beautiful and as described. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. The house was generally clean; my main disappointment was with the outdoor cleaning. It did not appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a build up of sand and salt spray on all windows and doors as well as outside deck furniture and cushions. While I know it is a beach house, sand and salt spray is unavoidable, I expected it to be clean when we started our week. A few other things to note: there are a variety of beach chairs and toys available for use, there is a high chair and a couple pack ‘n plays for the babies. Also, there is no beach in front of the house during high tide as the water comes up to the dune. You could walk through knee deep water to a wider section of the beach or make use of the pool during those times (which is what we did!). At low tide, it is a wonderful beach, perfect for the little ones! We had a terrific time being together as a family and loved relaxing on the beach and playing in the pool! We will have happy memories for a lifetime! Thank You!
