Our three weeks stay was wonderful!!

Short walk to the beach and restaurants..house was nice, equiped with everything you need.

Beautiful neighborhood and area in general. Ocean was beautiful as well! We plan to come back!

All Kitchen appliances need updating, patio landscape needs work, to many uneven blocks. Pots and pans need updating. Shed needs to be cleaned of unusable items - bikes, chairs need review. Management needs to pay more attention to property. Location and beach accessibility, including Stump Pass was convenient and great.

Thanks for sharing your vacation rental with us. The house had everything we could need for a trip to the beach. I can't recommend this one enough!

This cottage had everything we needed for a nice beach getaway! It was conveniently located walking distance to the beach, state park and the restaurants on the key. We used Stumpy’s free ride sometimes and walked sometimes up to the bars. Easy to do both! It had a nice patio with Adirondack chairs to relax. Beds were comfortable although the extra blankets and linens we found looked dirty. Unfortunately, the red tide kept us from the beach all but part of one day so we cannot comment on the beach equipment nor did we end up using the bikes. Rikke was quick to respond to my questions and check in and out were a breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was a nice place to stay walking distance to the beach. It was a few blocks walk to a couple restaurants or a short ride off the island to several other restaurants. Quite a bit to do in the area from outdoor activities to shopping and entertainment.

This cozy cottage was the perfect beach getaway from the frozen north (a.k.a. Minnesota). We were able to walk to the beach every day to boogie board, swim, fly kites, and look for shells/shark teeth. It was so wonderful to have a full kitchen to cook during the week and save some money. We would definitely stay here again! Perfect location and cute cottage! The only thing that would have made it even more perfect would be the addition of a kayak to use, but we did put the two bikes and beach equipment to good use!

Property matches description and was perfect! It's a short walk to the beach and short drive to restaurants. Great place to show up, drops bags and enjoy all the area has to offer. Will return for a third time soon.

The two bedroom cottage has been a perfect place to stay while being displaced from my home by hurricane Ian. It is fully equipped, has adequate space and a lovely outdoor area. The owners are responsive and wonderful to work with. Although I live in the area I plan to come stay from time to time.

Place was bigger then we thought. Only problems were dark in bathroom near washer. Couldn't get spare room t.v. to work. Loved closeness to beach. Would stay again.

The listing is accurate and we had a good stay considering it was a few weeks after hurricane Ian hit. This house did not have damage but many, if not most, did. The beach was fine although we were warned to not go in the water or eat fish caught close to shore. Stumps Pass Park was closed, hope it is open soon! Rikki was fast to respond when the internet went off, couldn't ask for better communication. The usual spices and condiments that folks leave behind were not present, maybe due to covid? Coffee and filters, salt and pepper was about all we found. We left some things for things for the next renters! We did use the beach stuff in the shed out back, was glad we had use of those items. Overall, I would recommend it!

Loved the location and short walk to the beautiful beach! The property is roomy and decorated nicely. Although the inside was clean, attention to details is needed. All in all a good stay and I would recommend to others.

We had a great weekend getaway for our family of 4 and our dog. Manasota Beach is beautiful from the Wanna Be Inn and south. Visit the Beach from the Wanna Be Inn and south and you will have a great time. North of Wanna Be Inn is full of private beaches, with signs stating private property to the waters edge, no stopping, sitting, and you are being filmed. There is a public beach access north of the house (as stated in the description), however, the beachside property owners make it clear that you are not to setup there and may only walk along the waters edge. Stump Pass Park is beautiful and a must see. Fees are $3 per car or $2 per person if you walk in. The house is a short walk to the park - the park was beautiful and well worth it. While on the beach we found many shark teeth, were able to snorkel, and float in the gulf. It is worth noting that about 1 mile north from the house is public beach access. If you didn’t want to drive, you could get a ride on the Stumpy’s Free Ride (required tip) and take that to the white elephant…the public beach is right across the street from there. We liked that the house had a sifter for shark teeth hunting, bikes, beach supplies, etc. The kitchen had a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and all of your basic needs. There was a hose outback to wash off after the beach and also a grill. There are great restaurants and shopping on the key and groceries are a short drive over the bridge. Overall a great place that I would recommend for a getaway.

We enjoyed this property so much. It is a quick 7 minute or less walk to the beach. The rooms were a great size and the amenities were awesome. Beds were comfortable. We brought our own bed spreads and covers for the furniture because we brought our 2 dogs and their crates. This property is cute and just what we needed. Will stay here again if available.

Enjoyed having beach chairs, cart and umbrella so we didn’t have to bring them. Private beach was nice for fishing and the grandkids playing.

The property was very nice as listed. I gave < 5 stars for 1 or 2 things only because the outside area was under the trees and there were tiny ants and leaves on furniture. The chairs and cart could use some updating. The walk to restaurants was too far in the heat. We opted to take car. We did end up entering beach at wanna b inn. It does say private property but that was one of the accesses we were allowed so we did. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen and living room. Although we covered the sofas to get comfortable on lazy days. Quiet to sleep as well. But wasn’t sure if the quilts were washed. Left the towels on washer and pulled back the bed sheets. Didn’t wash them that morning because didn’t want them to sit and didn’t know when the cleaning people would come. But it was a relaxing getaway all in all.

As always we had a great experience. Our agent was timely and did exactly as she said she would do. We will continue to use Rikkie and her experience to find my family the perfect place to stay.

We are no frills travelers - much more concerned with location than elegant amenities. This property was perfect for our family of five. We did sleep three in the king and two in the queen because the futon wasn’t in very good shape - but we were fine with that arrangement. The duplex is right across the street from a beautiful beach. Fairly close walking distance to several restaurants, Publix and Wal-Mart within ten minutes, Boca Grande 25 minutes, gorgeous sunsets on MK nightly! Owner was very responsive, duplex has bath towels, extra supplies if needed, and was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend.
