This property is the front half of a duplex ideally located near the beach and Stump Pass. Restaurants and groceries are within an easy distance. It’s perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Kitchen was adequately stocked, parking couldn’t be easier. On the down side, the private area is shared with the back half of the duplex, so the amount of light, sound, smoke etc are controlled by the neighbors. Also, you cannot adjust the temperature of the unit, which was initially set to 78, then 77. We had some cold weather while there and temps inside got down the the 60s.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this property is ideal and the surrounding area is quite beautiful and serene. We were very excited about visiting the area for Christmas break. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. We reached out to the host and sent her photos of the stained and sandy sheet on the sleeper sofa strewn with various kernels of popcorn, a pillow case with rolled dirty sheets, and the stained bathtub and bathroom wall and she insultingly inferred that we staged the aforementioned because we wanted to leave. We left after one night because we were a party of three, as the host was made aware upon booking, and the condition of the springs of the mattress on the sleeper sofa paired with the unclean condition of the cottage grossed us out completely.

My wife and i really enjoyed our 6 day stay in the unit at 1125 Shoreview Drive. The owner was very quick to respond with communications. Unit was very clean and offered a good range of amenities. A wide array of dining options are just a short drive away. The only thing that could be considered a negative in any way, was that the AC struggled to cool the unit during the heat of the day, but always caught up during the cooler overnight hours. All in all, we had a great experience!!!

Recently myself and a couple of family members stayed in the bedroom cottage. The cottage was clean and conveniently located close to the beach. There are lot of pros staying at this city and only a couple of cons. It’s advertised as sleeping for. That’s two in the bedroom and two on the pullout couch. The bed was very comfortable but the pull put couch was like sleeping on metal springs. This place is perfect for two people only.

This cute cottage was perfect for me and my six year old. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and pail/shovels that we could use at the beach which was super easy to walk to from the cottage. Host was very nice and responsive with the one question we had. Highly recommend, we would stay again if we came back to Manasota Key!

We had the best time, what a cute place! It had everything that we needed- Convenient location, private beach access, great local restaurants, & dog friendly. Can’t ask for more than that, we’ll definitely stay again!

This cute cottage was perfect for me and my six year old. Beautiful area! Perfect sized place for me and my little family. We really enjoyed it. The walk to the beach was a perfect distance for us to get in a bit of exercise after dinner and of course our trips back and forth throughout the day. Stump Pass State Park was amazing too! Bring bug repellent though!! Lots of misquotes.

My brother and I stayed here and spent most of our days surf fishing. The place is located very close to the beach so carrying our backpacks, fishing equipment and beach chairs was not a hassle. I would def book here again.

Location may be misleading. Beach access is through the state park, south of the property. The access to the north is restricted (you are unable to use the beach at that location). Bed is extremely uncomfortable; mattress and frame are well past needing replacement. Beach chairs and cooler that are provided are sale in extremely poor condition (practically unusable). Overall not a bad stay for the price but we would not return.

We stayed at this cottage for two weeks. It is very nicely decorated and furnished and feels very homey. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Rikke was highly responsive and any questions were answered immediately. It's a nice quiet area a block from the beach and there are nice restaurants nearby.

I don’t think we have ever stayed in a rental that was this clean! The space is cozy and furnished perfectly. The location is great and within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay again.

The rental smelled clean as soon as we opened the door which was a code personalized to us which made it very easy to remember! Bed, sheets, and temperature of the house was very comfortable. She'd was packed full of "stuff" available for us to use. Wifi worked great, the welcome letter was a nice addition for food and entertainment recommendations. Price was great. Communication before was clear. Would stay again and def recommend. There was only 1 extra roll of TP for the bathroom so we had to buy some and that seemed silly but overall it was a great stay.

The cottage is actually a 1 bedroom duplex that was decorated with a bright and sunny theme. it was very comfortable, plenty of ceiling fans and good AC in the Florida heat. Walking distance to beach; great restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Great location.
the only thing I noticed was that the side outdoor patio area was not kept swept up and clean which would be good to have done whenever the property is cleaned inside.

A cozy place
A wonderful place to stay. Perfect for a couple. Close to beach, restaurants and bars. Plenty of . Boat, kayak and jet ski rentals. Deep sea charter fishing right around the corner. The host was quick to respond to any question or concerns. We most certainly will be staying again.
