Great space for a group of friends or family. Fab facilities with an ensuite in most of the rooms. Loved it. Hopefully will stay again.

location brilliant spacious for family well kitted out for all our needs

Excellent location and amazing for an extended family stay, although may not be ideal for elderly members of a family. Very well-appointed kitchen and excellent range of crockery for self-catering. The layout is such that you can have your own space if you need a bit of time out.

We would have liked to hang our clothes in the bedrooms. Only 2 of the bedrooms had small spaces to hang garments. Also, there is no shelving in the ensuites to place your toiletries either in the shower or the bathroom itself.

The location was excellent, just down the street from the railway station, which suited some of our guests. It was also very near the amusements and the beach and lots of restaurants, bars, etc. There is a beautiful view from the upper floors. It is a huge house and it is really unusual to have so many en-suite bedrooms, which was a definite plus for us as a large family group. The owners left a very thoughtful gift for our children given that it was the Easter weekend which was a really lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. The two kitchens meant that we had plenty of room for food and drink. The big dining room was a great meeting place and having a seating area there also worked very well. We were absolutely spoiled for choice! It is lovely that the children have a little playroom and a separate adjoining living room (there is another one again for the adults). The beds were incredibly comfortable with fresh and inviting bedlinen and comfy pillows. I slept very well indeed. Obtaining the keys was easy and there was a very comprehensive folder of information about the house. The house is well stocked and clearly a lot of thought has gone into this.

The en-suite bathrooms are very small and some of the bedrooms are of such a size that whilst they are double rooms, the bed is against the wall, which might not suit everyone, but these are really quite small issues and I would rather have a small en-suite bathroom than none at all. Some of the decor is a little dated (the odd room, carpets, etc.) but on the other hand it is clear that the owners are bringing the house up to date from its previous incarnation as a B&B. In the rooms that have been recently updated, there are some lovely decorative touches.

Great location, loads of space for a big family of 9 adults and 10 children. 5 of the rooms have en suites.Great kitchen facilities. The host was very helpful and answered any questions promptly. Good access to a free car park from the back alley. A short walk to the restaurants and beaches in Portrush. Perfect house for a big group.
