If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place for you. However it is a nice cabin in a beautiful place. Surrounded by woods' it is peaceful and a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The host is friendly and extremely accommodating . If you need something, just ask and she will do what she can to make it happen.

Where to start… I read the previous review and decided to book this anyway… BIG MISTAKE. This place looks like it’s unfinished and not ready for people to stay. The shower/ bathroom was disgusting, although the hot water worked great, the shower needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The host only provided 2 towels for the entire 7 day stay and there is no washer/ dryer so we had to buy additional towels. There is ONLY 1 AC unit and it only cools the living room…. The bedrooms have no AC and sleeping was very uncomfortable. The entire place has holes, huge gaps between the door frame so the bugs and the Florida humidity fills the house. The paint on the walls was not finished, it looks like the bedrooms were in the middle of being painted. The WIFI is very slow and we could not use it…. We could not even stream a movie on the tv or computer. Lastly, the map on VBRO does not accurately reflect the location of this place… it’s about 15/20 minutes west of Cresent City in Fruitland… which was way out of the way from where we were visiting family. BEWARE IF YOU DECIDE TO BOOK THIS PLACE!

Upon walking into the home was startled by large bug, not a big issue out in the woods. Wife went to the bathroom shower stall at the shower head and on/off valve tiles smashed in and two big holes in the shower, also blue whatever that they used on the shower pipes. Was also not happy with the mouse that lives under/behind the vanity. Hot water was not turned on hostess informed us about the breaker in the front bedroom ( we did not use this room), When it came time for cooking gas stove did not work, again hostess informed us to go outside and turn gas on as they shut it off when they leave. As I am disabled my wife walked around the side of the house but could not turn the knob on the propane tank it was to tight. Security camera over the bathroom door inside the house, thought this was not allowed, we covered it with a face cloth not knowing if it was on or not. No ac ok not listed, but window either could not be opened and if they could middle of the woods and no screens in the windows.. Door going out the master bedroom to the outside does not close properly and all kinds of day light and bugs could get into the house. Mouse feces bedroom, kitchen even on top of new pot holders. Also soft spots on the kitchen/livingroom floor that we thought might fall thru. This property is beautifully located but it still being worked on and in my opinion not ready for rentals.
