Loved the hotel. It was fun to walk around with a guide to point out the different artwork and learn about the history of the hotel.
The room was so small for the nightly rate. maintenance came to replace our coffee maker and said rooms were so small because it was the original layout of the dorm rooms. FYI, you want a microwave you need to request one.
Small room for price. We wouldn’t have booked here, but we decided to because it was our 28th anniversary. We expected no feathers/down due to allergies and they didn’t provide hypoallergenic as requested by email. Also, expect to pay $10/night for parking, even if you have a state park pass. With the parking fee, plus resort fee. total additional fees $38/night.

close to the city but felt like you were far away! pretty trails to the beach, three restaurants to choose from! had a great massage at the spa- highly recommend!
our room was above the restaurant and it was super noisy all night and early in the morning.

We went for dinner. Our meal was excellent. Our waiter Jason was especially helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed ourselves immensely…
Nothing.

The staff including the valet were wonderful. Suggested places to visit as well as gave directions. We can’t say enough about our visit. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The grounds were manicured and lush. Definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Can’t think of a thing.

it’s a little confusing where to check in, if there is self park or not, not great exterior signs when I arrived at night

This historic hotel remodel was done to a exceptional level with attention to every detail that brings the story of the properties historic past immersed with an elevation of today’s luxury. The rooms, even though small due to the nature of the original building, were very well appointed. Since the property is located on a State park with access to miles of hiking that provides winding trails right up to Lake Washington, there is plenty to enjoy! Our dining experience was also fantastic with a well designed menu equaling scrumptious dining choices with the added touch of a live pianist for dinner and harp player during brunch. The service was also incredible with great attention and a friendly staff ready to please from reception to dining. This property is aware of how to attend to details. We were greeted upon entering the room with a lovely complementary birthday treat for our special occasion. The spa treatments we also top notch. I was impressed and we will return!
Everything was great!

The history tour was fun to learn more about the facility. The room was small but nice. It was quiet and the library was very nice and relaxing.
The temperature of the room was hard to control (either too hot or too cold). The food at the resturant was great, but the server was not very attentive.

The valet service, the ac, and the cleaning staff
The front desk staff, with the exception of Jazzy. The fact I had to talk to the front desk three times before the price was what I had been told by booking. There wasn't a pool or hot tub. There was 30$ dollar a day in undisclosed fees ($10 per day for 'park access' and $20 a day for required valet parking). The restaurant and room service staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was no sound proofing on my windows and breakfast was served outside my window at 830 every morning.

Well designed facility
Told easy minutes walk down to lake. Trails difficult for seniors.
Few of the staff unfortunately rude and unwelcoming
