Spring break in Barry

Good views and close to amenities with restaurant at our doorstep. Very prompt response by host to sort out very loud music at midnight or thereabouts from downstairs flat. (had a sleeping baby with us!)

Entrance through ugly fire exit style iron steep stairs, with cigarette butts everywhere. Difficult parking. Very steep stairs within property meant it was not suitable for children or anyone with mobility issues.

Very spaciojs but no good if u have cgildren

How close to the beach it was. The flat was really spacious.

The stairs to the propert are dangerous and a member of our party fell down down them after it had rained as were slippy and had black grease on railings and white slimy stuff on stairs. Quite a few things were broken and needed fixing. No internet and no signal on tv. Beds upstairs uncomfortable..

Great Barry location

The location is perfect. Suited us for a local wedding. Walking distance to Barry funfair. No issue getting taxis locally. 3 good sized double bedrooms. Large kitchen. Large bathroom. Balcony. All questions we had were dealt with very quickly.

Couple of silly decorative snags that could easily be fixed. Like there are 2 lamps in the downstairs bedroom but nowhere to plug one of them in😅. £15 to check in an hour early, is a bit steep.

3 / 10

Disappointing for the cost of 2 nights accommodation not worth almost £250 a night.

The location was good it was halfway between Barry and Barry Island, not quite as described on Barry Island but better actually.

The apartment was shabby and tired, frayed and stained carpets, dining chairs in poor condition, upstairs shower unable to regulate temperature, always boiling hot. Cobwebs in downstairs bathroom, some windows in lounge unable to be opened due to broken handles The Wi-Fi didn’t work as no password provided and when company was asked to supply one they didn’t. The apartment is above a restaurant whose kitchen vent spews oil onto the flats access stairway, you have to run a gauntlet every time you enter or leave the property. My daughter got dripped on, hopefully it will come out of her dress. The kitchen has a coffee pod machine (pointless with no introductory pods provided) same with the dishwasher.
