The apartment was clean and tidy. Kitted out well, as a family of 4, with 2 young biys they loved it. Was warm and cosy. We where short on towels and Spencer was so quick to help and dropped them off straight away. Service was great, communication was great and apartment was perfect for us. My only problem, was I should of booked longer. We will hopefully return in the summer this year or maybe next. Highly recommend we had a great stay. Also only 1mile and 18minute walk from the gauge, over the road from a small Tesco and next to a bakery. Everything in reach easily. Only thing I would say are the pictures on here are a little different. Sofa is different and the double bed is different. The ones there are still nice, beds comfy, kitchen is good size and bathroom clean so I have no faults.

The property was a perfect base for exploring the amazing Cheddar gorge and of course the home of Cheddar cheese. The property was beautifully decorated and it was noticeable that the host has taken a lot of care and attention in presenting the property stylish. I can also see that the host acts on the feedback as I can see some of the changes they have made e.g. microwave, floor rug. I found the host very helpful in advising whether it was possible to park the car near the property as there is a charity below the apartment. The location was perfect with lots of different types of restaurants nearby, and of course the handy Tesco Extra opposite the property. There is only a 10 minute walk to the Gorge if you avoid going into the tempting ice cream shops on the way !! After a day exploring the Gorge it was perfect to come back to this property and relax. The beds were really comfy.

The only minus side would be the traffic that goes by the property. It is only a small minus especially when you have this amazing nature of the Gorge on its doorstep.

Location was great, hosts were also lovely but there were many issues unfortunately from not receiving instructions to access the property or any instructions on the property at all.However, the hosts had just taken this over. the property was very clean and pretty, there were quite a few things missing but they remedied them.

Lots of things missing in the apartment from cleaning products, oven gloves etc but nothing major. The worse thing was this was advertised as a 6 bed but it was only a four bed so my son slept on the couch the first night with a thin blanket and on a futon provided by the hosts the second so it would have been nice if they offered me a discount based on this but they chose not to. The alarm also went off and it took 20 minutes to switch off. Instructions from the beginning would have made the experience a lot of smoother as I had to call the hosts a number of times interrupting our stay. It's a little noisy being on the main road in Cheddar if that bothers you. I am sure these issues will iron out and I would stay if it slept six people in the future.

There's steep and narrow stairs from front door up to the apartment; windows of both bedrooms and living room are facing the main room, a bit noisy.

It was a little difficult to find the location. The directions given (above Cheddar cycles) was a bit difficult to spot, though opposite the 24H convenience store would've been easier directions. Once we found it, fantastic location! Appreciated the host's guidance on where to eat etc. We faced a couple of challenges e.g. did not know how to lock the door by lifting it (don't have those types of doors where we live), but the hosts answered messages immediately to assist. Lovely decor and liked the sustainability touches!

Shower temperature was difficult to get consistent.

Owners were quick to respond to questions and provided lots of useful information about the accommodation and local area. Apartment was comfortable and well appointed.
