House is outdated inside and needs attention: second day: smoke alarm in high ceiling alarmed every 30 seconds, property man. had no ladder, electrician scheduled next day. As per owner, battery was taken out previously- we found a long pole to reset by pressing the black button, and it did stop, but no battery is against regulation. third day: continued bad smell in kitchen- finally opened dishwasher with 2 inches of pink scummy water that must have been there for a while- bad smell. Kuerig stopped working, replacement given by property man. was disgustingly dirty with bugs in it- no apology. seventh day: dishwasher leaked in kitchen- new one ordered and not delivered while we were there for another week. Couch in family room very uncomfortable. Beds hard as a rock. Description said bring extra pillows, but there were no pillows there at all. Couldn't find iron and board. Looked everywhere. Last day told board under bed and iron in cabinet in a bedroom??? Location was awesome, loved the small pool and pool cabana, upstairs deck seeing sunset and ocean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much liked this house but it needs a few details attended to make it perfect. We come to Stone Harbor every year and this house is on the beach block which is very convenient for the beach. This particular block wasn't crowded at all and great for our family. If you don't mind walking a bit to get to town this is a great location. To make this a perfect stay, the house itself needs the master bathroom spruced up. The shower is a bit grungy and we had to ask the property manager to come and clean it but it just needs work. There are carpet stains that should have been cleaned as well and we were all sore from the rock hard mattresses in each bedroom. That's certainly a matter of preference but none of our party preferred them like this. I would also employ a dehumidifier for the bottom floor as it is musty. The kitchen could also use a supply of the normal staples like salt, pepper etc.. of which there was none. At top dollar, the details make all the difference and while none of these issues were deal-killers, they do make a vacation nicer. The management company was super helpful with a few small things that needed attention right away. Thank you!
