This is our 3rd time staying at the Regency Salgados. We love this hotel, staff are amazing, food is great and the pool area is fantastic. It is a 10 minute walk to 2 beaches with great cafe's and bars.

It was reasonably priced .
Local to places we like to visit .
Near to the beach ( we had a car so near to most beaches on Prai Grande. )
The breakfasts were excellent . We ate out for lunch and dinner but they had deals on if you wanted to purchase them .
We didn’t use the pool etc as we prefer the beach but the pool was clean as were the sun loungers and towels provided .
The staff were friendly and helpful .
Nice little touches like water , small bottle of port and ‘posh’ biscuits .
Weird bathroom doors that had a funny tiny square handle to open . We both found this odd.
Pay for parking …. Not a fan of this .

The rooms and facilities were very clean and fresh as was the gardens.
The pool was very cold wanted it to be a few degrees warmer

The property was very clean and modern with really attentive staff, the poolside area was lovely and served food and drink and again was kept clean and free of glasses and rubbish. Breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was quite spacious, never had to wait for a seat. Can’t comment on evening meals as we ate outside the hotel in the evening.
My only negative for this property is the distance from the airport and the old town, although there are plenty of Ubers to transport you.
