The owner met us at the ferry port and on the day of departure we also arranged a pick up at the residence and drop off at the airport. It is a nice quiet location (in late October). There is a bus stop nearby and next to a mini supermarket and cafe. The cafe is good. The bus goes in both directions stopping at various villages around the island and costs 2 Euros. Check the time table as it changes depending in season.
The location is about 2km from Foinikas where there are several cafes and tavernas and nice swimming spots.
