Farmhouse in the greenery of the Tuscany countryside with private pool and view
Wer in Vescovado und Murlo ankommt – Gegenden mit etruskischen Wurzeln –, hat gleichzeitig einen Blick auf die Wälder des Val di Merse und die Landschaft des Val d’Arbia. Von hier aus geht es weiter zu den alten Bergwerken von Murlo, und entlang der Straße nach Olivello führt ein kurzer, aber steiler Anstieg zu diesem herrlichen Ort: „Haus im Paradies“, wie es vom Fremdenverkehrsamt von Siena bezeichnet wird.
Das Haus verfügt über 10 Schlafplätze und ist mit Heizung, Parkplatz, möbliertem Garten und Swimmingpool ausgestattet; es eignet sich gut für Familien oder Gruppen von 8 bis 10 Personen, die so die gesamte Unterkunft für sich allein haben.
Achtung: Kinder unter 8 Jahren gelten als Kinder.
Alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, ist vorhanden: Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Mixer, Kaffeemaschinen, Wasserkocher, Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Staubsauger, Fahrräder, Grill im Garten und ein privater Parkplatz.
Beide Badezimmer sind ausgestattet mit: Föhn, Toilette und Dusche.

From the very moment we confirmed our booking, Marina was helpful, providing us with timely communication and providing lots of little details to support our trip planning. She facilitated two activities (a wine tasting and a pasta making dinner) that were real highlights for us. The property was spotless and had everything (plus!) what we could have hoped for. I would make special note of the beautiful linens, well appointed rooms and multiple spaces in which to gather, share a meal or just relax. We were there with our two adult children, our daughter in law and our 9 month old grand son. The property was safe and inviting for our family. Lots of room to play as well. You do need to rent a car to visit this property; it is remote, which is what made it so wonderful for us. We travelled every day to the many local sites and events (easy and close) and then returned to our Olivello oasis. I cannot say enough about the beautiful time we had at Olivello. We will return!

The property is remote and peaceful with a lovely garden. We enjoyed the fireplace… very cozy in the fall. As noted by other guests, the road is primitive but we did not have any problems with access. A short commute to Montalcino for wine tasting.

We have never had a better rental experience. The host is lovely and the house is a gem. It was perfect for our family and a great home base to explore Tuscany.

Marina is a good host, friendly and helpful.
The rooms upstairs have an airco, but unfortunately the bedrooms downstairs don’t.
It is an original tuscan house, so the kitchen is small and not so practical but has all the amenities. Outside bbq is great.
The swimmingpool is a minute walk and has great views.
To get to the house it is via a track which is very steep and therefore a 4x4 will be advised. Showing the remoteness of this property.
This is a place were you can really get away from anything but doesn’t have all the amenities to be fully selfcontained. Therefore making it less suitable for (young) families.
