Beautiful cabin with plenty of activities onsite for our family. Quiet location in gated community. Beautiful views.
Property management is very responsive. We couldn’t locate any pitchers for making tea, etc. management sent a new gallon and half gallon pitcher over shortly after our request. Also noted the indoor heated pool was pretty cool for the family to enjoy. Maintenance came to evaluate and their desired setting appeared to be on target. However, in winter months, it was too cool for our kids to enjoy, so that was a little disappointing.
Adults did enjoy the hot tub. We had to turn up the temp on hot tub before it was an enjoyable temp too, so we didn’t use until second night.
Couple of suggestions for the property: explore options to increase pool temp in cold winter months; add a griddle or electric skillet for making pancakes, etc.; larger fitted sheets on all the beds as they were all too small and kept coming off in all the rooms; recliner chairs or foot stools would be a nice add to the living room.
Overall, a very nice cabin in a beautiful and quiet location with a responsive management team. Could have spent the entire time at the cabin relaxing.

This home is just how it was pictured. It was beautiful inside and out. This was our first vacation all together as adults, (7 total) and it didn't disappoint. The girls enjoyed the theater room, we spent our nights playing pool/games. The first night, the pool was the warmest (should've used it then) after that, it seemed to get colder as our stay progressed.
The highlight of the stay was a visit from a small bear. It laid down below for quite some time before heading back into the woods.
The drive up/down the mountain was a little nerve wracking the first couple times, but we got used to it. Beautiful scenery everywhere!!
Suggestions: Towel/clothes hooks on the back of doors. Dimmable light switches. The refrigerator had broken shelves and a drawer, so that was less space that was usable.
I would still give this 5 stars

The property was beautiful, clean and well supplied. The check in process was smooth. Communication was prompt and helpful. The only issue we encountered was the heated pool did not seem to heat properly, so my kids only used it for about 20 minutes of our whole stay. The property manager did their best to have it serviced and comped us with Ferris Wheel tickets. An adorable Bear Mama with her 1 cubs paid us a visit on our last night here, something we have been wanting to witness for a long time! We had a fabulous trip. Highly recommend this property.

Had a great time in this home with family. Was great to have things to do when the rain canceled our plans. Had the same bears visit a few times during our stay. The house was exactly as described and the only thing extra that could have been included would be some spices for the kitchen and starter coffee and creamer set but not all homes have this so wasn't a big deal. Beds were comfortable and view was amazing!

Cabin has everything you need for a nice get away…exceptional view and great outdoor area with furniture/ grill, pool, hot tub, theatre, game room and kitchen. Beds were good and the decor was just right. Only two minor issues: the first night in the theatre room, the movie went out and we had to switch the circuit breaker back on 3 or 4 times. Worked better the second night. And, second, I think more dish washer packs should have been provided for a large cabin (vs. 2). We filled it up after each meal. We ended up getting a bottle of soap and washing everything by hand vs buying a whole bag of dishwasher pods. But, we would have been able to better take care of the cabin amenities if supplies were provided (small cost for the return).

This home is very nice. Extras like pool table, shuffleboard, video games, pool all wete awesome to have to make memories together. The place was clean and supplied. We saw bears every day! The same bear came several times. He had scratches on his back is how we knew. It was like he was waiting to see who was there, just sat on ground looking up at us the balcony. He didnt bother us and we didnt bother him. The view is incredible. Short drive into town. Recommend The Peddler and The Park Grill.

At first the steep and winding road up to the cabin seems a bit daunting, but seeing the views makes it quite worth it. And after driving up and down once it really is not all that bad. The cabin was very clean and the kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. We had an issue with the heater in the pool not shutting off, so the pool became quite warm, but after e-mailing the property manager someone came to check it out within 10 minutes! The location is very close to all the major attractions in the area, but also quiet and relaxing. We got to see a mama bear and her cubs the one afternoon! Highly recommend this property for a family.

Beautiful cabin, nice heated pool. Only issue we had was the septic tank overflowed the downstairs toilet and maintenance had to come fix it and clean up crew had to come out.

A very interesting drive up the mountain. Amazing reviews. We even got too see a bear in our back yard. The kids loved the indoor pool. It's the perfect spot between pigeon forge and gatinsburg.

We loved our stay. The property was sparkling clean, and we loved the view and the theater, game room, hot tub, and pool. The pool is on the cooler side, but also we were able to adjust once we got in. There is a neighboring house on each side, but from the back deck you are out of view and it feels very private. The location is great if you are there for the park--you can avoid downtown Gatlinburg if you want to go directly there via the bypass. But also very close if you want to visit town. It's up the mountain, so may be difficult if there is ice--would just recommend getting there in daylight the first time you are driving there, and take your time. We'll definitely be back!

Incredible location, needs a better property manager. Indoor pool was green upon arrival, unusable. Pool was also at 59 degrees, this is the indoor pool! Renters have no access to pool temp controls so we had to wait on the property manager. Tech did not come out till late Wednesday, took pool another day to reach 72, then another to max at 82, and was essentially unusable for most of our stay. TV's are hung crooked and remotes don't work correctly. Took a frustrating effort to get CFB playoff games on in the den, but we weren't really there to watch TV so this was not a huge deal. Some of the mattresses are terrible, the bunk beds are very uncomfortable. Toaster does not toast, selection of pots and pans could be better for a high end and high priced property like this one. Pool table does not really fit in the pool room, many restricted shots. The cabin is gorgeous no doubt with spectacular views, but at the costs they are demanding the customer experience should be flawless. When we contacted the property manager about the pool and getting it fixed (not green and not freezing), their response was they were "extremely busy...working as quickly as possible..." We were there for 5 nights and didn’t really have time to wait on an extremely busy property manager.

The property was beautiful and felt like home. Easy parking, kids loved the game room, theatre and pool. First floor master was perfect for my parents and we took the master upstairs. Only issue we had was the heater wasn’t working on the pool but the room was so warm, the kids didn’t mind…just too cold for us. We took advantage of all the perks. View was amazing. Will stay there again!

The cabin's location is excellent for access to the park, downtown Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge.
The main bedroom had a dirty bedspread and a clogged sink. The sink was repaired quickly when we called.
The Halloween decorations outside were a little scary for our youngest two children.

We arrived at night and was not expecting to have to drive up a dark winding road up the mountain for over a mile. It was a bit scary for me, especially on the way down. I was glad I didn’t miss a turn or I would have gone off the cliff trying to turn around because it was so dark. But…the cabin is beautiful! The view from the deck is breathtaking. We had plenty enough space and the kids really enjoyed the pool and game room. The cabin was newly built, smelled like fresh wood, was clean and had plenty towels, pots, pans, dishes. It was my first time in The Smokies so I am glad I got to experience all that I did. The cabin is located close to all the attractions and great restaurants. Overall, I’m satisfied!!!

I'll start with the good. The cabin is great. It fit our needs perfectly. The cabin is in a private area, which was great. Since it was October, they even had Halloween decorations up in the neighborhood that was wonderful. The view from the back is amazing and probably can't be beat. The 2nd floor game room was nice for playing pool and games. We had a lot of enjoyment out of it, though it is right next to the 2nd floor bedrooms, so may be a little loud if people need to sleep up there.
The bad was that the pool wasn't heated when we got there because of a breaker, so we only had one day to actually use the pool. It was nice when we could, but disappointing since that was a main reason we booked it was for our small children. In addition, the projector didn't work, so while there was a very cool theater room, we couldn't actually use it. Overall was fine, since there are plenty of tvs and other options, just disappointing.

We all enjoyed our stay at Dip in the Smokies!! Absolutely everything we wanted. The drive up while unnerving, was worth every bit when we arrived. The cabin and views were refreshing and breathtaking. Our family would love to visit again!! We also appreciated tge location as well as we could play on both sides of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!!! Just perfect. Thank you for having us!!!!

Spectacular
Best cabin rental we have ever had! The cabin is immaculately clean. The view from the balconies are breathtaking. The location is extremely convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The kids loved the indoor pool. The road leading to the cabin is steep with curves, however you will find that with most cabin rentals. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Cabin review
July 2022. We had an excellent experience staying in this cabin for a week. The scenic drive and view were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We are a family of five and had a family of three staying with us. Plenty of space for all. It was a short drive to downtown activities. We would definitely consider coming back to stay in this cabin again. Would recommend.
