Wat een prachtig huis! Alles was brandschoon, grote tuin en uitzicht op de Lawrence rivier. Wij hebben genoten!!

Badkamer beetje lastig. Je moet in het bad douchen/wassen onder schuin dak. Maar allemaal niet erg!

we really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and we had everything we needed in the cottage. The beds were very comfortable. It’s a great place to stay with a family. It was a wonderful view from the front window. It is also very close to Tadoussac.

Très bien situé à 5 minutes des Dunes de Tadoussac, ce magnifique chalet comprend tout ce que l'on à besoin pour un long séjour. La cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée avec des poêles, chaudrons et beaucoup d'ustensiles. Les lieux sont propre et bien décorés.

Le dernier 100m du chemins d'accès n'est pas très large pour les gros véhicules.

What was good: The location of the chalet is fantastic—less than five minutes from the heart of the village and very close to the Dunes. The exterior space is lovely, especially the outdoor fireplace area, and the chalet was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The interior is basic but comfortable, and the host left a thoughtful bottle of wine as a welcome gift. It is a solid base for visiting Tadoussac, and we would consider returning.

What could be improved: With a few straightforward updates, this property could reach its full potential: Kitchenware: The dishes and cookware feel like camp gear. It was difficult to find two matching cups or glasses, and there were no wine glasses to enjoy the bottle left by the host. A small, cohesive set of glasses and tableware would make a big difference. Living room furniture/Mattresses: The main leather sofa has seen better days and is visibly patched up with tape; a modest refresh of the living room seating would immediately elevate the comfort level. Same thing for one of the main mattresses in the bedrooms. You literally roll off to one side during the night. The bathroom layout: While the main-floor bathroom photographed in the listing has a bathtub, the angled wood planks slope right at shoulder height, making it impractical to stand up and take a normal shower. Basement shower access & maintenance: There is a third floor in the basement featuring a standard, fully functional shower. However, it is not part of the standard cleaning service between visits and it unfortunately shows, and guests are advised they must clear the drain themselves if clogged. For parties larger than two, having a practical shower ready to use is a necessity. Including this basement bathroom in the regular cleaning turnover—even if it requires a slight rate adjustment—would solve the shower dilemma and create a much smoother stay.
