La Magnolia Sorrento - City Centre Hotel

This boutique hotel is ideally located right off the main square and is just charming. Comfortable rooms and we enjoyed our terrace outside as well. The staff was welcoming and helpful with local recommendations.

The rooms were small but we made it work. Having the outside terrace made it feel more spacious.

Very convenient location. Lovely room.

Insufficient in room power outlets.

Angela was excellent. She went out of her way to help us. Eg with buying tickets for the airport bus, a visit to Pompeii and most of all helped us to buy tickets for Juve Stabia football game - not an easy task for non Italians such as us. We had to book an extra nights stay so were in two different rooms. One had a veranda which was lovely but a smallish bathroom, the other was bigger but just a view over the street. Location was excellent, easy to walk to most parts of Sorrento, about 8 minutes to station. Nearby taxi rank. Rooms were furnished with beautiful inlaid wood by local artisan. Both rooms had well stocked fridges with ice cubes. Local shop one minute away.

Low water pressure, very weak air conditioning in one of the rooms not fixed during a whole week stay.
