Once we were in the room and location was great but the check-in process was cumbersome vs all the other places we stayed in Italy, the person to let us in showed up late and 3 of the 5 AC units didn’t work. It’s a company that manages the property and that’s how it felt, impersonal which is very unlike everywhere else we stayed. I understand things happen and if had just been the late arrival due to a car issue I wouldn’t have bothered writing a review but two rooms were so hot we ended up sleeping in the couches in the living room.

This rental is centrally located for all the sights in Ortigia, and right next to Syracuse. The unit was as described .The view of the water is spectacular. You will want to bring paper products for the kitchen. The check-in/check-out times are not firm. Italy takes garbage separation very seriously.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Seaview Design Home in Ortigia. The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed, and even more stunning than the photos suggested. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the Duomo, excellent restaurants, and the waterfront. Waking up to the view of the marina each morning was a highlight of our trip. This home made our time in Sicily truly memorable, and we would gladly stay here again.

The location was good and the view was great. However, the wifi was horrible and the host did nothing to rectify the situation. Blankets were thin and it was cold at night.Would not recommend this property as it didn't compare to the other 2 Vrbos we stayed at on this trip.
