Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lovely cosy cottage in a great location. The house is overlooked by a lot of trees which makes it dark, in the shade for most of the day & a bit on the cold side. I can imagine in winter with the fire going it would be lovely & cosy.The newly renovated bathroom is beautiful & the high quality washer & dryer very handy when you have a little one. The kitchen is a little tired but I’m sure the owner plans on renovating this next. Beautiful furniture & furnishing, just let down a little by all the cobwebs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage is located in a sweet village outside of Bright. It has 2 bedrooms, the second of which is small and cramped, and a very small living area. The sofas are uncomfortable, and it's a difficult room to lounge in as the sofas don't face the TV. It provides basic accommodation, with only the minimum of cookware and crockery in the kitchen. I was disappointed that the backyard was weedy and not well looked after, and was certainly inferior to the gardens of other homes I've stayed at in the area. The outdoor chairs near the front door could do with a clean. I understand accommodation is expensive in this area, but even so, this place is poor value for money.

The beds were a little hard for my preference and they should think of also providing lighter bedding for warmer weather. The area is particularly beautiful. You have to travel to Bright for supplies but it is no distance by car and you are able to obtain all you need. Overall I would recommend this property to others.
