White Pearl Mykonos

Die sehr gute Lage und trotzdem Ruhe. Einen Pool mitten in der Stadt zur Verfügung zu haben, ist auch eine tolle Sache.

I booked a room very spontaniously as I the ferry I was supposed to take was cancelled due to the winds. The hostess Anna was so friendly and very helpful with any topic. The hotel is super cute, beautiful and has clean rooms with a comfy bed. Mine had the entrance around the corner with a cute little private garden/terrace. The best part of course is the private pool area which feels like a little oasis in the middle of Mykonos town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants etc. just around the corner. The hotel doesn‘t provide any food or drinks themselves but you can bring your own. The rooms come with simple kitchen equipment. Would definitely stay there again when in Mykonos town!

Nothing negative to add.

The location of the property is great if you want to explore the town and get lost in its multiple alleyways. I liked how close it was to multiple quick eating places. It was a great quick grab and go for a hangover cure. In a similar path the water bottles provided in the room were lifesavers after a day out, and they were very accommodating on my last day storing my luggage while i explored town after check out.

If you stay during high season and plan an early arrival back into the hotel expect some music noise from the nearby bars. this was not a major problem for me but if you are sensible to noise be aware of your travel season.

The apartment is ideally located for walking around Mykonos - the restaurants, independent shops, windmills, old port etc are on your door step. And crucially, the hotel is just on the door step when you walk out of a restaurant at night. The member of staff we dealt with was really friendly - helped with an early check in, and late check out. Plus storing luggage for half a day before our flight home.

The apartment (room 6, described as a Junior Suite, suitable for 3 people) was tiny and had very little storage space (nowhere to store a suitcase other than the floor by the bed, nowhere to sit (it appeared to be the only apartment without any outside seating). There was a kitchenette, of sorts (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, toastie maker. It had 2 fridges, not sure why), but no surface area to prepare anything. Plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery are just on the worksurface - not in a drawer or on a shelf. With such a small apartment, they need to be more creative with storage space.
