Great location, comfortable lodging and helpful landlord!!

My family (husband, son, daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law) all stayed at this lovely home. Our experience started off great, as the hosts allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in. Meredith & Scott left us a sweet welcome message with a bottle of local cider for us to enjoy. Our hosts graciously allowed us to have our extended family members over for visits; our large family were in the area attending a family wedding. Parking was a premium in this cul de sac. Meredith and Scott were aware we were visiting for our son's wedding, and sent a best wishes message, which was very thoughtful of them. This VRBO is located in a very nice area, in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the Victoria airport. We found the access to the water to be a lovely little area to enjoy the birds and warm weather. There are two fridges in the suite, with two areas for guests to gather to eat and to play games. A washer and dryer are available with a small amount of soap provided. There was plenty of room for three couples. Kitchen supplies/dishes are also available. The beds were comfortable as well. I would recommend this vacation rental.

Great location as a base to explore Vancouver island . The balcony is fantastic for bird watching . We saw hummingbirds!!!

Spacious and Private! 3 bedrooms,2 baths! Our family was able to enjoy the island for the day and come back to enjoy a quiet evening without feeling over crowded with no escape😊

The apartment was beautiful and well stocked with kitchen basics and a few extras. We really enjoyed our stay and will try to book a stay there again in the summer. Great bird watching and a lovely neighbourhood.

Peaceful location, very spacious and great beds! It was too cold to sit out on the covered deck in early March but lots of windows to enjoy watching the many birds. Easy access to walking trails and nearby Sidney offers all amenities

The area is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed including space heaters for the storm that happened during our stay. Very dramatic!

Great location, superb accommodation and very friendly hosts. We stayed 9 days in late January, the weather was okay but, it was still relaxing to sit on the covered deck and watch and listen to all the different birds. The home is right on the water, yet still close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

Excellent spot to join with family - Sooo close to Swartz Bay / ferry and also very quiet. So many birds and a tidal lagoon to watch. Exactly as advertised and very responsive / attentive hosts. Lots of room.

Perfect rental for families and our fur babies. Huge living areas, and very nicely decorated. Scott and Meredith were very accommodating and ever so kind.

We had a wonderful time staying at Scott and Meredith‘s property. There was 5 of us, we had family visit us there and there was tons of room to cook, eat meals, and visit. The suite was beautiful, and everything was squeaky clean which always adds to a stay. The beds were very comfy and so was the bedding . The wraparound deck and the dock outside were also beautiful; it was a little chilly to sit out there while we were there, but it creates a lovely ambiance watching the birds, including hummingbirds coming up to the feeder. The neighborhood is gorgeous, and very quiet, but close to everything. A few minutes from the ferry and the airport. No complaints about anything related to our stay and we would definitely stay again!

The area is very peaceful and quiet. The location allowed for easy access to the airport, ferry and other areas on the peninsula. The suite was very clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

While looking for a place to relax and get my daughter settled in for University we came across this listing that was perfect for our family of 4 and pets. With the availability of 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, large living area and awesome stocked kitchen, dining room, covered deck and views it was a perfect fit.. When we arrived it was exactly as was posted and worked very well for our family, including our pets. The beds were very comfy as well which is important to a person with a bad back. The yard was very tranquil and being able to watch the tide come in and out on one of the many areas(dock, hammock chair or covered deck) was one of my favorite things to do while I relaxed and breathed in the fresh air, especially with a morning coffee. Although it was 20-30 minutes away from Victoria it was exactly what we needed, away from the city but close to SOOO many beautiful places, lakes and quietness. Sidney is very close where you will find everything you may need. We were even able to catch some large and small mouth bass and these beautiful pumpkin fish at some of the fresh lakes in the area. Scott and Meredith and as Hosts were awesome, friendly, quick to answer questions or concerns and were very respectful with privacy during our 8 day stay. We were so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend these days here as a family and will definitely keep it in top of mind for future.

Our stay in North Saanich was great and the accommodation was fantastic. The property was very clean and obviously well looked after. The balcony was large and every morning and evening was spent just taking-in the peacefulness. In addition, the hosts were very helpful giving advice on places to go or any time we had a question. We will certainly stay there again if we get the chance.

Scott couldn’t be nicer. They had a sign and cupcakes ready for me as I was there for my 50th birthday. You can’t beat the view out one of the Queen bedrooms. It’s super close to the ferry and a short drive to everything else. The downside is as someone else commented on, you hear a lot of noise f I’m upstairs and their toddler. The first few days it was cute. By day three when you really just want to sleep in and you hear those little feet run across the floor it’s less adorable. I think if I’d had ear plugs it would have done the trick. My sound machine wasn’t quite enough. It is a great location and cute little place though.

We spent an enjoyable and relaxing time in this well appointed property. Lovely deck for wildlife spotting. Attentive but not intrusive owners and friendly neighbours.

We enjoyed the proximity to birds and wildlife on the inlet. Perfect location for our small dog with many trails nearby and private backyard. Hosts were helpful and pleasant and the neighbourhood was beautiful.

So far so good. We stayed 3 nights early before our long term stay during a renovation. Scott and Meredith are very friendly and accommodating. The neighborhood is very nice with lots of trails and sidewalks for walking, running and hiking. The accommodation is very roomy and modern with a large covered and private deck. We are just starting our stay but so far have no complaints and would definitely recommend to anyone for short or long stays.

The property was as pictured and as described. Very clean and well kept. A great outdoor space to relax. Although on the water, not much of an ocean view, but the forested view was lovely too. I was so happy to find a clean rental that allowed pets. Allowed the whole family to join! There is a bit of a jaunt from the parking to the suite which includes many steps and a gravel path. Not for those with any mobility challenges. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed all the windows that looked out onto the birds that were constantly flitting about. Given the rain, we were not inclined to sit outside in the hammock, but the view from the apartment was great. Overall, the place is well-outfitted and very comfortable.
