The place has a well equipped kitchen (cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, pans etc) with gas stove and a fridge. It also has 3 large bedrooms.

The living room sofa is a little small, but you're favourite place to hang out will be the beach anyway .

the responsiveness of the owner. even though we had problems, she always was available, answers to our questions.

The fridge was not working, and based on the smell, this was not a new problem. And when you are in a 30 degrees Celsius island, and the city is 25mn walking distance, the fridge is pretty much essential. The water pump was stopping every ~12h, and the maintenance guy was coming to fix it, until it stopped when we were going to bed (meaning no toilet, no shower, no water at all for all night). i figured out how to fix it by myself fortunately, saving someone from the shower, when the water stopped right in the middle. The facilities are set to a minimal, very slow internet. Also, the location is very far from everything, and after a rainy night, it is almost impossible to go back and forth between the house and the city, except from the beach. Some things you need to know, others need to be fixed absolutely. But for that price, we expected something much better.

Perfect location, and short walk to center of town.

Wi-fi was intermittent and no hot water on first day.

We liked the porches and roof (we sat outside to drink coffee in the morning). The location was quiet and was only a short walk (2 minutes) to the beach. Alberto communicated with us quickly and met us when we arrived with the key, which we appreciated after a long day of travel. There was plenty of room and we enjoyed having two bathrooms for our family of 5. Each night one kid took a turn sleeping on the couch and the other two kids had rooms and a full bed to themselves (their choice versus sleeping 2 people per bed). No air conditioning in the main part of the house but there were plenty of fans and they slept very comfortably. The 3 bedrooms had air conditioning (worked great!) and access to the porches, which we liked.

We had some difficulty reaching Alberto, which delayed our departure a bit. The location of the house was farther from town than we anticipated based on reviewing maps. While that made it much quieter, my teenagers said they would have put up with more noise from people and golf carts, if it meant a shorter walk. If we stayed there again we would definitely rent a golf cart. Another issue was ants. The downstairs bathroom was crawling with them, on the floors, walls and sink area. We kept our breakfast foods on the kitchen table and had zero problems with ants there - just the bathroom.
