Bedford House & Hall

Good facilities, breakfast was exceptional. Amazing friendly staff. X

Location

The bed was amazing. There was great food within walking distance. There area felt safe. Walking to the beach was easy. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was both a shower and a tub. The staff was amazingly welcoming and thorough, it was very refreshing.

It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and if the tub drain had worked so that the tub held water. There were a few cosmetic repairs that were marked with plastic on the walls but they had not been tended to by maintenance yet, it would have been nice if they had done the touchups prior to our arrival for appearance sake but it did not affect the amazing comfort of the room.

Wonderful comfortable room

Check in in a different location and breakfast again in another location

The room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable

The curtains were white and due to the street lights opposite, didn't darken the room at all at night. We were on the ground floor beside the front door and other guests came in and out and up and down the stairs until the middle of the night, The room above us was also very noisy. While there were facilities to make hot drinks in the room (and a fridge and microwave) there was no-where close to buy groceries. We were asked to check-in next door at 4, which we did, but whenever we went to the restaurant, it had closed it's kitchen for the day so it was difficult to get food. The cafe itself was lovely and breakfast was ample and delicious but it was a walk outside across the car park to get to it - fine as it was dry that morning but I can imagine what that would be like on a wet day
