We loved our stay, the breakfast was fantastic. The room was comfortable, had a lovely view and all the things we could need to make our stay comfortable. Perfect distance from the village and many lovely walks in the area.

Breakfast was outstanding as local produce was used. I had the dirty hash brown which was something I have never eaten but well worth a try. Owners were very welcoming and friendly with lots of local knowledge to help with your stay. Views from the room windows at outstanding , and a quick walk from the bay.

Highly recommended. We had the luxury double with Seaview. Standard of furnishings and equipment much better than what you'd normally get in a BnB. Room cosy but everything you need for a couple of days. Comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Darren and Anna are very friendly and helpful. Lots of local information and recommendations. Darren even went out to get us a new TV when ours didn't work! Lovely meal at the Victoria next door. Fantastic steak pie at the Bay.

Very welcoming owners and the rooms were first class. Breakfast was excellent. The location is up the hill conveniently located close to some restaurants and pubs.

Breakfast not available until 8.45, which did not fit in with our taxi collection (but good packed-lunch provided instead) If you don't like climbing hills, it's a bit of a climb from the town centre (ok for most people).

What a great place to stay! Our hosts, Darren and Anna, were very friendly and genuinely happy to welcome us into their home and gave us great tips on where to eat and visit. Lovely people. Breakfast menu was well thought-out and there was a great choice. The breakfast room was light and airy and the table laid out beautifully. Our breakfasts for our 2-day stay were delicious and generous - kept us going on our walks until tea-time! Our room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and fresh-looking and spacious enough for 2 with luggage and the bed was very comfortable. The property is well placed for a short walk downhill into the Bay (be prepared for a steep walk back though!) and the carpark was very conveniently across the road from the house. A parking pass was provided which gave us free parking on our arrival and departure days and just a small fee of £3.50 for the full day in the middle of our stay.

There was nothing, we feel, that could have been done better by our hosts and the Bay and surrounding areas were exactly as we had hoped. Good walking, good drinking and great food abounds.

Owners are very friendly and the attention to detail is amazing. Perfect room and perfect breakfast.

We were made to feel very welcome, Darren and Anna are lovely hosts nothing too much trouble lovely breakfast would highly recommend would definitely stay here again.

If I was being really fussy I would have preferred a bigger room but in saying that this did not spoil our stay.

Breakfast was perfect . Very tasty and well cooked . The location was great as we were able to easily have a walk before breakfast . Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming . Our whole stay was perfect and we can't wait to return .
