Good location, extremely clean for a Vietnamese hotel, great room with balcony and soft sheets, very helpful friendly host. Everything about our stay in Minh Chi was absolutely perfect. This hotel is by far the best value you'll find in Vietnam.

The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean, lots of natural light, nice mattress and bedding. Kettle and mugs in room. The hotel owner is really friendly and helpful, helping us check COVID requirements, book airport transfers etc. The location is also good, very close to the lake and some nice spots for food and drink.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, the cafe was closed and the usual breakfast service not provided. The cafe was one of the reasons we ended up picking this hotel, as we'd heard the breakfasts were really good and it's nice to have somewhere to relax other than the room. Of course, the hotel isn't at fault as COVID prevention measures need to be followed, but it did have a negative impact on our stay. It would have been better for the hotel to tell us ahead of our arrival that not all facilities were up and running, so that we could have changed our plans as necessary, rather than us only finding out on arrival.
