The property has had no love for some time which frequently appears in the reviews and nothing is getting done about it. Lacked a lot of the basics, most of the lights do not work, no gas in the BBQ (I had to go and get a bottle and was reimbursed), nowhere near enough toilet paper for 10 ppl for 2 nights, no salt, oil, paper towel (thankfully the lovely neighbours helped out with these after hours), missing light globes, handles that keep falling off, dirty dishes and smelly wet washing in the machines, paint peeling off everywhere, dust and dead blow flies everywhere. No ventilation in 2 out of 3 bedrooms (these are the bedrooms with mould not surprising). The spa was nice for the kids but a massive headache as we were asked prior to our stay if we wanted it on and I replied that I did only to arrive and it wasn't on. A quick call to the owner helped to trouble shoot this but the water was dirty and the spa looks to be leaking. The remote timer wasn't working meaning we had to ask the owner to turn it back on and spent the two days topping it up and waiting for it to heat up. Only the kids jumped in due to all of this. I was asked to add cleaning chemical to the water upon departure but all of the "pre-filled bags" were empty. Either the spa or the homes grey water leaks directly onto the front lawn & driveway and down the street so this was a boggy, wet mess. Gutter guard mesh was hanging out of the roof, BYO wood as there was none and we had to clean the firepit out first as it was full to the brim of green garden cuttings and I didn't want to smoke the neighbours out. We were kindly offered a late checkout after all the issues with the spa but we just wanted to go home.
