The Paul Bangalore

The decor was amazing. The breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious. There is a park nearby great for kids.

The pool is cold, it would be nice if it could be heated.

Spacious suite. Quiet location.

The ambience in the public spaces didn’t quite come together. Didn’t feel that the amenities were value for the money we paid.

I found the staff to very very friendly and welcoming. I would like to recognize the following staff members for being incredibly helpful: Anjali, Zarmeen, Alwyn (at the front desk) and Sridhar. A big thank you to the housekeeping team, Madhi (housekeeping head), Ajit, Vikas and Vasikaran for keeping my room neat and tidy. Abishek at the restaurant was also very hospitable. I dined at the restaurant, Vembanad with some friends. Got excellent service, very tasty food, fantastic traditional amibience. Loved the hotel architecture.

I love this hotel but it keeps letting me down. The staff is not listening but if they listen they do not understand what you say as they barely speak English. They won’t speak local languages either. Due to this there are too many misunderstandings. It has never been perfect but I think the hotel is on a downtrend. Too bad the hotel itself is nice.
