Highlands Resort - Adults Only

Beautiful wooded location, nicely decorated roomy cabins. Lots of amenities.

No complaints!

Cute and nicely redone cottages. Towering redwoods. Sense of calm.

The continental breakfast was very simple. Not much clothes storage in the cottage. Needs a coffee maker (since coffee is not available until 8:30a) and a small microwave.

The breakfast was fine--a little protein, little carbs. Nothing fancy but got the job done.

staff is gone at 6 pm

I loved the proximity to town and the cabins and gardens were very pretty...

The staff member taking care of our reservation was a grouch! She was really short with me for opting out of the texting thread for some reason, and was extremely condescending. She seemed to be annoyed by our presence. We almost avoided the free breakfast the next morning because we were worried about seeing her again. Her attitude contributed to the general idea I have of the property that it seems stuffy and unwelcoming. Not the go-with-the -flow Russian River vibes I come to expect from hospitality in Guerneville.
