Syros Soul Luxury Suites

This is a lovely small hotel located in the heart of Ermoupolis, on the main square. To our delight, we were upgraded to a superb, spacious, light-filled corner room with views of the sea, the square and the town hall and with 2 balconies, including one with a small table and 2 chairs. The room had a couch and armchair, as well as a really comfortable, large double bed. Well-located power points for charging. There was a dressing room with plenty of room for 2 people’s luggage. Free bottles of water. Very nice bathroom with good water pressure and proper hot water. Thick bath and beach towels plus robes provided. Being centrally located, there was of course some noise from the street but the sound proofing was excellent, so only the lightest of sleepers would have an issue. The air conditioning was very quiet too. Breakfast was in the pleasant cafe right next door, where from 8.15am you choose from a pretty good range of breakfast options. Espresso included. And most appreciated, the lovely woman on reception carried my very heavy suitcase up the stairs without me asking!

Hardly worth mentioning but the shower door didn’t quite close so the water spread a little in the bathroom.

Location was excellent Close to port, shops and restaurant. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms. Staff was excellent. Room makeup everyday. Plenty of towels. Coffee and tea in room. Wonderful breakfast.

Convenient location. Beautifully decorated spacious rooms.

Shower was not draining. Told gentleman at the front desk the first day but it was never fixed. Must be an ongoing issue because you can see where flooring was stained from the water overflowing the drain pan and going onto the floor. Had to wait 20 minutes between taking showers to allow for the water to drain.

Very central and comfortable room
