The accommodation has a great location, directly on the lake and easy to reach by car or public transport. Private parking space available.
Everything was clean and spacious as promised in the pictures.
The apartment is certainly not soundproof.
However - besideds that, everything was great!

The host is friendly and welcoming. The communication was good and parking space was available.
The facility had access to the lake.
There was a busy and noisy construction site just next to the rooms. The workers started working even on Saturday morning and made a lot noise.

Mattia and his Father were so helpful! Mattia responded to WhatsApp messages promptly and was always willing to help.
the place is bigger than we expected and an amazing surprise is that to this property they have their own lake jetty/beach which is where we spent most of our days.
the cupboards are stocked with all the essentials you may need, it honestly felt like staying at a family members house, everything was thought of.
the house was clean, beds were comfy
there is nothing bad to say about the property, however a few things to keep in mind is that there is no connivence store/supermarket near by so be prepared for that.
another thing to note is the address is in Laglio, not Carate Urio, google maps shows 2 of the same address and number. Mattia will help with co-ordinates.

The location was great for us. It's away from all the craziness and tourists. Which could be a con if you want to be close to food. We loved the private dock. Very peaceful. The beds were also very comfortable.
Just know that it doesn't have wifi or AC. It's far away from a supermarket, restaurants, and gelato.

I was really impressed by the location of the appartment. There is a pier to access the lake directly in the building, and the views are amazing. The appartments and the rooms were very convenient for a group of 4 young travellers.
In addition, the owner of the house and the person giving us the keys were very understanding and they waited for a bit longer than planned for us. I could really see that they had pride in what they are doing and they care about the people they were hosting.
There was not wifi. Most of us had mobile data, so it was not a big problem. Just bear in mind this is the situation, mainly if you are planning to work on the laptop during the holidays.
