Location

The room was really unpleasant. Located in a basement it had a strange layout with a small bedroom and really unfunctionable kitchen. Cound not reach phone via phone. Luckily, when we reached a location, I could locate the cleaning lady and obtain keys from the room. Room was cleaned only 1 time within our 6 days stay. Definitely it doesn't worth even a small fraction of money we paid for it.

Modern and comfortable accommodation with a small kitchen plus a beautiful lake view from the balcony - an ideal self contained place to stay in Koh Phangan. A fast and reliable internet connection is definitely an advantage too.

I wish the owner was more friendly and hospitable. At the time of booking, I asked for a room on the top floor and was promised one. However, upon arrival I was given a room on the middle floor, with no apology or prior warning. When I said I was unhappy about it, I was simply told that there was a mistake and there were no top floor rooms available. I also discovered that the safe deposit box in the room wasn’t working and the toilet was leaking. When I tried to address all these issues with the owner, I was offered to leave and get my money back, otherwise the owner said “there would be a complaint every day”. It is hardly surprising that that kind of communication made me feel neither safe nor welcome, especially given that it was high season close to Christmas and anything half decent would have already been booked. Having said that, to my pleasant surprise, the next day I was offered a room on the top floor, which also had everything in good working order and the rest of my stay was fine.

there was no reception so getting hold of the staff was a bit tricky. there was also no regular housekeeping.

‏The most amazing hotel in Koh pangan!!! ‏ The hotel was amazing, the hotel staff was very nice and made sure everything was perfect. We wanted to say a huge thank you to nook from the hotel team, for making our stay so much better, a lovely girl who always made sure we didn't miss anything, we definitely will come back. nook you are the best !

they have no hot shower, only warm. only 2 small pillows.

LOVED this apartment! It felt like home. I loved sitting on the balcony reading a book looking out over the lake. best shower I’ve had in weeks and the apartment is very clean and fresh. the apartment has a fridge, a small stove, teakettle, cutlery, plates, tea cups, glasses and bowls. you also get 4 towels. I was a bit sad leaving. thank you so much for a lovely stay.

I have nothing to complain about. Just some notes that would make it even better - kitchen towels - a binder with cleaning rules, how to get new towels, contact, Wi-Fi password etc. The lovely lady checking me in didn’t speak English at all. would just make it easier. - knives to eat with would be good.

I stayed 7 days plus 5 days but the experience was different. The first 6 days were great. The view is really nice and the equipment in the apartment very modern, I think they just build the complex last year (a friend told me). The location is good, 3 beaches in walking distance, many good restaurants around, convenience store close by. Good value for money if it's nice and quiet above your head...(see second review)

You need to ask for new towels. No kitchen towel or paper towels. For 1 week I got 2 thin layered toilet paper rolls, and got asked to buy more at myself at the store. Well, no big deal 10 THB but... During my 7 day stay cleaning was done on sunday only, after I ask for it because my kitchen floor looked gross.

See first review for 7 day stay. This is the 5d-stay. Overall good. This review is for remote workers. This review is for everyone who is looking for a nice place for a view days or long-term to work online. Make sure you get one of the upper apartments because how pleasant your stay stands and falls with your neighbours. And not all of them learned to pick up furniture and move them from A to B and rather constantly pull them any time of the day 20m across the floor. I'm very glad I am very flexible where, when and how much I work and didn't have to call clients or do any important calls this would have been embarrassing. Note: the owner offered me to change rooms which was really really nice but I was too lazy to pack all my stuff from the wardrobes and move my stuff, so I escaped to the nice cafés to work. This place can be an idyllic studio with a beautiful view but make sure nobody is above your head. Internet: Every apartment has its own router/connection. That's convenient. 2 work desks available

I love the view and that it is centrally located, but still quite. It would be great for a couple that is staying a couple of nights or a single person like me that wants to stay longterm.
