The location was perfect; it was a bit tight on the road up to the house; but it was totally what we had expected to find in Robins Hood Bay. There was a walk through down to the Bay making our choice of accommodation perfect for our stay. We had sunshine which meant we enjoyed breakfast in the garden; that was a bonus surprise. Coastguard Cottage has been lovingly restored to a very high standard; this shows in the attention to detail throughout the cottage. From cutlery to furnishings no expense has been spared; it had a lovely feel to it; and a pleasure to stay in. I would definitely recommend Coastguard Cottage; you will not be disappointed.

The cottage is perfect! 10 out of 10 for: Cleanliness Comfort Location Garden -outside seating/eating area Sea view Parking for 2 cars Definitely home from home. Every detail carefully thought through to ensure visitors have a perfect stay - whatever the season. Also owner easily contacted if needed.

No problem for us, but a consideration. The walk into main area is downhill, (amazing views!) and just a few minutes away. Could be a challenge for anyone with walking difficulties.

Perfectly clean with amazing views and great location. House had everything you could need for relaxing holiday!

Was great to have parking but getting to the property was little worrying when the village is busy with tourists. Didn’t stop us though!

Gorgeous house in an amazing location
