Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good location - close to station, stadium and dining. Unit was well equipped - washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher, utensils. Comfortable bed.

Did not receive entry code via text or email as advised - fortunately there was a staffed office nearby where I could get the code. Seating area very uncomfortable. Strong smell in bathroom (sewer gas?) that did not dissipate even with the fan on continually

Zentral und ruhig gelegen. Der Innenstadtbereich in 10 min fußläufig erreichbar. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut. Insgesamt keine Beanstandungen. Perfekt für Cardiff.

I would not describe the apartment as outright neglected, but unfortunately, it is quite clear that not enough attention is being paid to its ongoing maintenance. Individually, these may seem like minor issues, but there are simply too many of them, and together they significantly affect the overall impression of the accommodation. For example, the kitchen window cannot be opened because there is a partially broken and rusty key stuck in the lock. The TV remote had dead batteries, the kitchen equipment was very limited, the kitchen tap was extremely loose and felt as though it could come off at any moment, the toiletries holder in the bathroom was broken and hanging loosely in the shower, and the bathroom tap was visibly scratched and worn. The apartment also lacks basic guest information and instructions. Even something as simple as the Wi-Fi password is not readily available in the apartment and has to be requested separately. Again, this is not a major issue in itself, but it is unnecessarily inconvenient and contributes to the overall impression that the guest experience and day-to-day management of the property could receive considerably more attention. None of these issues would be particularly serious on its own. However, when there are this many small maintenance and practical issues throughout the apartment, they inevitably have an impact on the overall experience. Unfortunately, an even bigger issue was the noise. During our stay, we were repeatedly disturbed by noise both from the apartment above us and from the neighbouring apartment. On our final night, for example, there was a loud techno party next door until approximately 3 a.m., which understandably had a significant impact on our ability to sleep and enjoy the stay. Considering the price of this accommodation, particularly when compared with rates at hotels such as the Hilton in central Cardiff, I find the value for money difficult to justify based on our experience.
